32.0 (32.0.29) is now available
The Logos Bible Study application version 32.0 is now available to all users.
To immediately update to the current stable version, enter Update Now into the command box. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it is scheduled to check for updates.
Edit: We have discovered an issue for users running macOS Big Sur. While we have temporarily paused additional Big Sur users downloading 32.0, if you have already downloaded 32.0 and are experiencing issues, our top recommendation is to update your OS. If you are unable to update your OS, see this post for details on how to work around the issue, or reach out to customer support.

Thank you for the left panel opening....

For me the left panel opening is not better than before. If you draw it the other end. You can't draw it back. You have to close the pane and open it again. Still not good.

I have no trouble drawing it back and forth between sides. I don't need to close it. Perhaps if you provide a video we can see what is going wrong for you.

We have identified an issue specific to users running macOS 11 (Big Sur). While we investigate and troubleshoot this issue, we have changed the update to prevent users running macOS Big Sur from downloading version 32.0. Users running macOS 12 (Monterey), 13 (Ventura), or 14 (Sonoma) are unaffected and can safely download and run the update, as well as users on Windows.

No announcement about the AI features?
Thanks for leaving the license in place for the beta testers. Hopefully everyone will be able to use this soon.

Interesting, I downloaded the new release and now I have this.
I do have permissions for using my own program.

Have a great day!

Hi, what about the AI features and the slew of features from the Logos 32.02 beta 1 list (like the dark theme not requiring restart, etc.)?

I'm not on the beta and was really looking forward to an announcement or something. The Logos Help manual was updated with a Smart Search entry, and there's an Early Access link (with a notation "Requires an Early Access subscription"). Following the link, however, was pointless; only our friendly but befuddled Logos sheep found on the premises.

This broke the app on my MacBook Pro to where I can't open it. The error is that I do not have permission to launch Logos.0

I am not on the beta but have access to the smart search after updating. When doing a "Books" search, I get the option in the upper right hand corner. Also, when Smart search is selected, I get an icon next to the search bar.
EDIT: After thinking about it more, I am curious if you have to have certain resources for the option to be available? I know that in beta testing, they offered access to certain resources to the beta testers.

For any users on Big Sur that are experiencing this issue, our top recommendation is to update your OS if possible to a version actively supported by Apple. Logos support for Big Sur will be ending in an upcoming release.
For those who are unable to update their OS, you can follow this process to reinstall the previous version, 31.3.
- Delete the Logos application file.
- Open Finder.
- Press CMD+Shift+G.
- Paste ~/.mono/registry/CurrentUser/software/logos4
- Press Return
- Rename the users folder.
- Download v31.3 from here for Intel, or here for Apple Silicon.
- Install v31.3
If you have any concerns or hesitations, please feel free to reach out to customer support at cs@logos.com.

Did you join the Early Access group while the beta was ongoing? That could explain why you have access.

This is correct. We have left the test licenses in place for users who had participated in the beta while it was open. We value your on-going feedback!
We have not yet announced general availability for these features. The test licenses will likely be removed at that point.
We appreciate everyone's interest. Stay tuned.

Thats probably it. I did go to the group in search of looking for what resources were required. I just checked and see that I didn’t leave the group. Good call.

I left the group and the new search was removed.

You'll need to follow all the steps in Nick's post, including renaming the user folder. If you're still struggling our Customer Support team are aware of this issue and will be able to help you.
I'm sorry for the hassle. We are busy working to fix this, but it's unlikely we'll get a fix out before the weekend.

OK. Sorry, I did not see all the steps. That worked. Thanks for your help!

If you check the release notes you will see that this fixes the Big Sur issue.
