Enhanced BDB availability in Bible Word Study
I have the Abridged BDB and Enhanced BDB lexicons. I‘ve tried prioritizing Enhanced BDB over Abridged BDB and hiding Abridged BDB in Logos Desktop, but I can never get Enhanced BDB to show up in the Bible Word Study in the mobile app. I use iOS and iPadOS. Does anyone else have this issue? Is enhanced BDB even accessible in mobile or was it just designed to be in Desktop? I don’t have this issue in the Desktop application.

Hard to tell, from your description.

Your query is better placed in the Mobile Apps Forum. I note that:
- I get Enhanced BDB in the web app, but it ignores my desktop Prioritization
- Abridged BDB is also listed.

My apologies, I thought you were referring to the Web app. You were referring to the Mobile app. But when I open my Mobile app I'm still missing my CHALOT, although my DCH is at the top of the list instead of the bottom on my Mobile app. I can see both the BDB and the BDB abridged. But I can't see my top prioritized lexicon, the CHALOT. Something is definitely wrong with both the Mobile app and the Web app.

Ryan and Kiyah,
I am not able to duplicate the behavior you describe. I have CHALOT, Abridged BDB, and Enhanced BDB as prioritized resources, and I see them all if I do a Hebrew Word Study in the mobile app.
It should be kept in mind that advanced prioritization is not supported by the mobile app. If this does not explain the behavior you see, then I would recommend sending us your logs.
1. Open the app.
2. Tap the Menu icon (this icon has three horizontal lines).
3. Tap Help.
4. Press “Report a Problem”
5. A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Please mention this thread in your email. Press “Send” to send your report.0 -
I don't have advanced prioritization for the CHALOT. I tried again. When I open the Bible Word Study guide for 'elohim' from the biblical text (long press, then hit open bible word study from the three-dot menu), then I can see CHALOT in the guide. However, when I type in h:elohim and hit search directly in the guide itself, it finds the Hebrew word and opens the guide but the CHALOT doesn't show, but the other lexicons show. However, I have been able to get the CHALOT to show for other words with that method (example: h:el, h:eloah, h:shed). Maybe there some problem with how the BWS guide is finding the word 'elohim'.

Kiyah, I can duplicate the behavior you describe, and I am writing up a ticket for this issue.

This has been fixed in version 32.
