Zotero and Logos

For anyone interested, I've updated the Excel file with changes discussed in this thread. It's now version 1.2.0. A more detailed description and the new download can be found here: https://threepillarsblog.org/technology/accessing-your-logos-library-in-zotero/
I am also working on a way to match ISBN numbers for books to the exported records from Logos to access other metadata that would be useful in Zotero. Stay tuned.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge. But why do I want to download Logos resources into Excel or Zotero? What benefit is that to me? Thanks.

Zotero is a citation manager. For my academic papers I use Zotero, because I have many resources that are not in Logos. That's why I need to import all my Logos resources to Zotero so I can cite them, as well as find all my resources in one place. Zotero supports different kinds of resources, too, such as web pages. Excel is just a temporary step to be able to import into Zotero, at least for me.0 -

Seems like your blog is down, Scott. Upgrades going on..?0 -
Hi Tommy, I have not noticed any downtime. I'm able to get to it fine now and didn't get any alerts this morning.

I see that the problem is with my VPN provider. Without VPN I can access it fine. Sorry about that. I will test with the updated file and report back. Thank you so much!0 -
Thanks. That helps.

Scott, I can confirm that the new version is working perfectly. Imported thousands of Logos resources and language is correctly applied.Again, thank you for all the work you put into this. I think we should send this to Logos Support and have them link to your blog on the Logos website? There's the old https://www.logos.com/grow/exporting_your_logos_4_library_to_zotero/, but your way is of course much better. Perhaps they would consider linking?0 -
Hi Tommy,
Thanks for testing and reporting back. I'm glad it's all working. I think it would be great if Logos Support suggested this or if someone linked it on the Wiki. Even within the last year, Zotero import issues were on the radar in a release so there must be *some* interest beyond this thread: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_24.0
