Citation Styles

We're looking into updating some of our citation styles to make sure we have the latest editions, and I want to make sure we prioritize the right ones. I'm curious to know what you use, particularly (but not exclusively) if you're associated with a biblical higher-ed training institution.
Could you provide the following information?
- School
- Style guide(s) and edition(s)
- What you use today

I am studying with TNARS (The North American Reformed Seminary), and all class work papers are to use MLA 8th edition. Before this, I have used Turabian for my classwork at a different school.

Wayland Baptist University School of Theology uses Turabian 8th with a fallback/kickout clause that for the rest of the university, everything that isn't specifically stated otherwise should be APA.

I have a friend who just started using Logos and his university is making him use
"Kate L. Turabian, 9th Edition, Chicago Manual of Style, 'author-date-info' citing book bibliography format"

Harding School of Theology
Turabian 8th plus their own supplement.

and please add if your school accepts the citation as printed by Logos. [[Some may be using a modification of the citation in Logos]].

Phil Gons (Logos), I believe it would be more productive if Faithlife provided a way for users to customize the citation style within Logos. Since Logos already has cataloged data in the software (such as name, surname, title, publisher, city, etc.), it wouldn't be complicated for the user to choose what they prefer to use for academic work or personal use. An alternative would also be to allow users to save a CSL file with XML so that Logos could read and use it as a citation style.

I may be wrong but somewhere in the back of my mind, I think I saw where Logos uses a third-party citation style software. Unfortunately the About screen lacks a find function so I can't verify this foggy memory

I copied some text from the About Page (~40 pages), did a search and found this:

CSL Style Repository
This software uses Citation Style Langauge styles. The official repository for Citation Style Language (CSL) styles (http://github.com/citation-style-language/styles ) is maintained by CSL project members. For more information, visit CitationStyles.org and the repository wiki (https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki ).
Is that it?

Yes. Thank you.

The ABNT has been requested by some users.

Any university or theological seminary in Brazil uses the ABNT style, which is the standard for citations in Brazil. It would be great to add this citation style. Even better would be to adopt the CSL standard to edit citation styles using XML

I'm testing with a friend who works at Logos Brasil an ABNT XML citation that's working well. This one looks promising (link), but it depends on the team in the US incorporating it into the software. Let's pray and hope that an ABNT style comes out this year (2024).

Citation Styles: ABNT
In Brazil, all universities use ABNT standards. I don't understand how the Logos team hasn't incorporated this citation style yet, as it has been requested long before 2016.

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has their own style guide but it's based on Kate Turabian with a few changes specific for the seminary. I will guess all the Southern Baptist seminaries probably use the same stuff.
