Highlighting text in the Logos app for Android takes 'forever'
Is there any way to solve the fact that highlighting text on Android takes 'forever' waiting for the text to be highlighted?...
And I only have half a dozen books downloaded, that is, just a few Bibles and the books I'm reading.

I am not an android user, but I did a quick search of your device and android version. It appears to me that you have a 1) underpowered and inexpensive tablet which 2) is running an old version of Android. Is that right?
Hopefully someone with more android experience and this particular device will chime in.

Yes, I have a underpowered and inexpensive tablet running an old version of Android, but I have not problems with the other apps when highlighting text or taking notes.
In the meantime I have seen in the forum that is a problem reported by others, so I suppose it is an intrinsic issue of the app.0 -
I have the same problem since months ago. It takes like 30 seconds after choosing a colour or something for apply it. I was using a Xiaomi Redmi 8T (MIUI 12.5.2.0 & Android 11) today i bought a Xiaomi Redmi 13 (MIUI 14.0.3.0 & Android 13) with 8GB RAM + 8GBRAM but same problem. On the new Redmi 13 logos is starting faster but has the same problem with loading marked verses and apply changes on verses.
A friend of mine has no such problems, it takes like no second for his smartphone to apply changes on verses. His smartphone is older, is no high end device and i don't have a clue why. It is really frustrating at this moment after buying a new smartphone, only to have the same problem.

I was wondering if and how much the data of an account has to do with the loading and saving in logos? For example i have a lot more marked verses and pictures i'm using in notes than my friend (he is new in logos).
