Deleting highlight
How do you delete a highlight now, before you could tap on it and then select the trash can?

The only way I found was to select a word of the highlight…it should then display the type of highlight (say a green underline) select the hamburger button (three dot) within that is a delete. It should delete the entire highlight. You can also change the highlight type this way.
I agree it is too cumbersome a process.0 -
It's not just for deleting a highlight but also changing the highlight color/style. Logos managed to go from a 1-2 clicks to having to click 3-4 times to do the process.
All this after they removed the reading progress bar from mobile app.
Steps backwards in my opinion.

Bumping this to bring back attention to this issue. Very frustrating.

Thank you, I did vote there and am searching for anywhere else I can vote for it. 😎 Tapping the top of the resource seemed to work much better without removing the functionality of other features like this.

Agreed - removing the ability to delete a highlight and removing any sort of progress bar or % complete is a huge step backward.

You're welcome to vote for the feature here.
Ali's link goes to a reversal of the tap to select highlight. The best I could find (but there may be a better one somewhere), is that you can vote here to bring back the progress bar.

The three biggest issues I see with highlighting are:
- You can only highlight in scroll view, not page turn view. In page turn view, you can't extend a highlight to the next page. Ideally, this would work like Kindle where you move your finger to the lower right, the page turns, and then you can continue highlighting.
- If you've highlighting something incorrectly (which happens a lot due to Logos guessing the wrong words to begin/end on), you can't click on the highlight and then extend it using the handles. If you do, it creates a new highlight, but doesn't edit the existing highlight. Yes, I know you can click edit from the three-dot menu, but that takes you do the note showing the highlight. You can't actually edit the begin/end of the highlight.
- Delete is now buried another click deeper.
So, when it comes to highlights (or anything in computers), being able to create, edit and delete are all important.
1) Create seems to work fine except you can't create in page turn view, and Logos isn't always great at selecting to the end of a sentence - it sometimes leaves off the period at the end or a parenthesis, 2) there is no apparent way to edit (extend or shrink the highlighted text), and 3) delete is now one click further removed.
I think that's why folks are a little bothered by this feature.

Two finger swipe moves page up line by line.
I learned something today. Thank you.
