I have L9.  I need to find the cheapest way to get L10 basic..I don't need more tools.

I have looked in the catalog.  >> I type 'logos 10 basic'.

At the top is: get the free app. I have L9, so this looks wrong for me + meant for newbies.  But, is it right for me: free L10 basic?

Down the list about 8 places is: Logos 10 Disciple Essentials.  $25.87.  It costs, whereas the one at top of page is free but perhaps wrong-o for me.

Can I get some advice on what I need to top up to L10 - from L9.  Thanks very much.

I believe that is the right place. But please check which version of the engine you are running (3-dot-menu at the top right, then About). If you are running version 32 or close then you probably already have everything that's available for free in Logos 10.

Scooter - I don't understand your question, but let me try to explain.

First, the software is free. Second, Logos has changed is nomenclature for the software (thankfully) to divorce the software numbering system from other naming schemes. The current version is not "Logos 10." The current version is 32.1 (as of this post). If your goal is to have the newest engine, simply download it.

If that is not your question, please explain more.

Thanks to both Bernhard + JT for replying here.

I did confuse these 2 numbering systems, JT.

I am running 32.1.31, per where Bernhard showed me to look.  I downloaded it 2 days ago [not auto].

I got concerned as subscription is coming, and I am not up-to-date re L9 + L10.  I last bought an L8 package.

I don't want a 'scription as I read, highlight, write a few notes +, lately, have started using Look Up.  But this 7 days a week.

The money requested monthly for a 'scription I can put into books.

    Thanks again, gentlemen.

The change to the new numbering system has been very confusing for many customers, but it is a good thing long term. Users should disassociate the software engine with Libraries and Feature Sets, which is what the change in numbering will do (long term) but cause some headaches in the near future.

Prior to our exchange here, I have read your comments on the very question I asked, in 3-4 different strings.  I read each explanation over multiple time to get it permanently in my head, as I knew I would someday need this info.

And I still did not get the concept.  You provide logical, sequential explanations.  This perfectly fits my learning style.  This is how I wrote procedures back in the day.

I have a hard time with anything computer-ish.

Thanks for your patience here, and in the Forums.  God bless.
