display of the superscripted letters

Other than utilizing the "Bible text only" filter option, is there a way to disable the display of the superscripted letters and numbers that appear in Biblical texts? I ask because the "Bible text only" option disables section titles and alternates to a one-verse-per-line display style. The paragraph-formatted arrangement is what I would like to keep, but I only want the marks hidden.

Turning off footnote indicators in the Bible only visual filters should get you close to what you want.

What are the step by step instructions on how to do this?

Come on - you referred to the Bible text filter option ... look for footnotes as a subcategory under that. For some odd reasons, I'm on a machine that doesn't easily produce screenshots.
