Slightly urgent: book not showing up in app

I have 37 books by Kay Arthur. One of them (The Call to Follow Jesus - Luke) does NOT show up on my mobile phone library even though I ticked my phone in the desktop app information pane Devices tab.

Sigh... any thoughts?

    The auto-download thing on mobile where you tick the box on the desktop has not worked for me for quite a while. Have you tried manually downloading from the library on mobile?

    Try rebuilding the index on your phone.

    To do this, go to the homepage, enter rebuild index in the search box at the top and select the command from the dropdown menu.

    OKay so here's what happens, step by step:

    - I'm on my homepage on my mobile app (version 32.0.0 (Build 1320000035)

    - At the top where it says "Enter a topic, term or passage", I type "rebuild index"

    - the dropdown ONLY shows the following as options:

    SEARCH

    • "Top Bible"
    • Entire Library
    • All open books

    FACTBOOK

    • Zerubababel Celebrates Permission...
    • Index Librorum Prohibitum
    • Cyrus Enables Israelites to Rebuild...

    HUH? Or am I in the Wrong Place? [:P]

    Is that iPhone only? I've never heard of entering commands on the mobile before, and it doesn't work on my Android.

    Apologies - this does only work on iOS and I forgot that when I posted my suggestion.

    For clarification: Your "even though" solution is completely unrelated to your problem. If everything is working as it should, ticking that box will simply download the resource to your device so that it is available offline. It does not make resources which are not showing up suddenly appear. 

    Have you verified that your mobile library is not filtered in any way? For example, if your library is filtered to show only downloaded resources, the book will not appear if it is not downloaded.

    If you explore my previous suggestion and still have no luck: 

    • Try killing the app, restarting the device, and trying again.
    • If that doesn't work, you can try deleting the app and redownloading.

    Yup... removed and redownloading seems to have fixed it. Should have thought of that first.
