Bug: Cannot turn off Reverse Interlinear Pane
Running Windows 11, Logos Pro...
I cannot turn off the Reverse Interlinear Pane. In the Alpha-Omega Icon drop down list, I can uncheck it.... but when I reload it is checked again.

I cannot turn off the Reverse Interlinear Pane. In the Alpha-Omega Icon drop down list, I can uncheck it.... but when I reload it is checked again.
This may have to do with the particular Bible version being part of several layouts. If that be the case, open each layout, then go to the Bible and use the little "v" to open the interlinear options and turn off the mark for the interlinear pane. Save / update that layout.
Now repeat this for each layout that contains that Bible, turn off the reverse interlinear pane, save/update the layout and move on to the next layout which contains that Bible, and repeat the above.
Finally, restart Logos. Open a layout and check the interlinear ... the pane should be as it was when you updated/saved the layout, i.e. interlinear pane turned off.Generally speaking, a Bible will open with the settings as they were when that Bible was last closed. Layouts will save the various settings and the state of resources, Bibles etc. as they were at the time the layout was saved. Thus it can be that the interlinear settings in a Bible may be altered, if a layout is later opened with a different setting from what had been manually changed.
I just tried this with 4 test layouts that each had the same Luther 2017 Bible version.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Here is a (I think) solution to my dilemma.
I opened Logos which opens with a named layout. I closed the layout. Then opened my bible. Opened Alpha/Omega icon. Unchecked Reverse Linear Pane. Closed my bible. Closed Logos. I then opened Logos which opens with my named layout again. And this time it's working.
I'm a thinking I must have a layout or something that opens my bible with Reverse Linear Pane checked some where. I search on that.

Your procedure lacks some necessary info:
- what is the status of the RI pane before you closed the layout?
- what do you mean by "this time it's working"?
I tried this in v33 Beta 4 and v32.1 with NABRE
- The RI pane is displayed
- uncheck the option to display the RI pane
- Save the layout (#1) via Update Active Layout
- Load an older layout
- RI pane is displayed as expected
- Reload layout #1
- RI pane is NOT displayed but the option is checked.
I can state that Logos preserves the state of the RI pane when saved, but it likes to check the option when restored. It is not objectionable as a mere click will open the RI pane when I want it. Also, it preserved the state of the pane in an older layout.

The status was that when I loaded Logos... and clicked on Alpha/Omega (A/O icon) the RI pane was open also. I then unchecked the RI pane and updated the layout, closed Logos, then re-opened Logos and it seemed to work. I think there is something that the RI pane or the A/O icon is saved in the last state when the bible is closed.

I went through all my layouts checking the RI pane. I did have one layout (that I use quite a bit) that had the RI pane open. I think when I loaded that layout and then closed it, it reset the RI pane to being checked since that was it's state. And then when I opened another layout, since the bible was closed with the RI pane checked.... that was remembered when I opened layout #2.
But now... All layouts with my bible has the RI pane unchecked and it is working for me now.... no matter which layout I open.
Hope I've explained it well enough... but as always... I may be wrong in what I am thinking about the RI pane.

What you have found is what I generally expect when going back and forth between “inline” and “pane” when using the reverse interlinear, the system defaults to the last saved style. I think you have discovered your answer!
