Notes feature request
In two different occasions this week I have lost significant content I had written on notes.
First was when I started writing a note on my mobile device, and then spent the afternoon finishing my note on the desktop. Next morning, when I opened notes on my mobile device, the note was not synced, and therefore, it was not the latest version. I did not notice this and kept taking notes on the same file. After that, Logos synced the mobile version of the note and overwrote all of my work of the past afternoon. That was really frustrating, because I needed the note to teach a class the same moment it dissapeared. Since I did not have the time to deal with the logos problem during class, I improvised and forgot about it.
Second was just now. My Logos had a bug where the button to change the notebook of a note was not working. I decided to copy the content of the note and paste it on a new note in the correct notebook. I pressed ctrl+x to cut the content of the old note. Then, I opened the new note and made a mistake. Instead of pasting it with ctrl+v i pressed ctrl+c and overwrote the content on the clipboard. I lost everything I had in the note and could not find a way to undo the problem. ctrl+z was not working.
PLEASE provide a way to access the file history or to revert any changes, or to access a previous version of the note stored in the cloud. This would have solved both of the problems I had. I could not find a way to get my content back. Logos has been my first option for taking notes, and I have long notes with a lot of content that would be horrible to lose because of something similar to this.

I use Logos Mobile most of the time and only occasionally use Logos Desktop, so I haven't seen this to often in Logos. I do use Microsoft OneNote heavily on two Windows laptops and two Android tablets (and occasionally an iPhone), and see this sync problem more often than I would like (it happened today). When I'm finished working on a device, I try to remember to manually force a sync, then I usually close the program.

CTRL+Z was working, because there was no previous content to restore. It will work (restore) in the original Note, but it has to be done before you switch to the other note.
In Windows 10/11 press Windows key + V to see if you have any clipboard history. Otherwise, go to Settings, type Clipboard to get Clipboard settings, and switch Clipboard History ON. See what happens after you use CTRL+C by mistake!

Yes, I have unfortunately learned about this feature in windows 11 right AFTER I have lost all content. That would have helped me. I have it enabled now and recommend everyone do this too.
About ctrl+z, that may be what happened, but I still think it is a strange behavior. Why wouldn't it let me undo the ctrl+x after I switched notes?0 -

Two things about this:
- CTRL+C does not remove/clear the current clipboard entry in other apps e.g. MS Word + a text editor
- Logos does it only when you switch context in Notes e.g. to another Note
- CTRL+Z does retain the previous action in other apps e.g. MS Word + a text editor
- Logos forgets when you switch context in Notes i.e. to another Note
- Logos retains if you switch to another Tab, though
I would regard the CTL+C action as a bug. It should not clear the clipboard entry as you observed.
Logos generally expects you to "Undo" ASAP, before performing any other action (especially when you delete text).

Can I formally submit a request for Logos to fix this in any way?

Yes you can submit bug reports and feature requests on the Logos Feedback forums.
Before creating a new report, search through the existing reports and see if anyone else has reported it; if so, vote for that one, and make a comment if you want to add more details. I'm hoping reports with lots of votes get higher considerations at Faithlife. Also, please browse through other reports and vote for ones that interest you. Currently, I think this is the best way to have community involvement in the development of Logos,

Also, is this the right forum to submit a feature request? I think that providing access to the sync history would improve this app.
