If one has Logos Pro, do they also need to be a member of the Beta group to enable features? I do not own Logos Pro. Also how can I do a chart that shows what features are in both programs?
No, the group is for enabling beta features only. Production features are controlled by the subscription.
I do not own Logos Pro. How can I determine what features are in Pro and what are in Beta?
You don't have the Pro features.
What are the features in both Pro and Beta is what I am asking. How do I discern what is in each setup?
I don't see how we can answer that question.
Current Logos Pro features are defined - but will change. Beta features are what Logos choose to include in beta testing
You can check Release Notes (https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Release_Notes) and Beta Release Notes (https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Beta_Release_Notes) for what features have already been released in released versions of Logos and what's in beta currently.
I do not think Logos has yet announced how they are going to publish release notes for Logos Pro subscription.
And for anything that hasn't been released yet (either in the regular releases or beta), what features will be in those is known to Logos only, and they will not pre-disclose it. So that doesn't help you decide probably, whatever it is you're trying to decide about whether to subscribe or not, or whether joining the beta instead would get you those features ahead of time (albeit in possibly buggy state).
The Pro version contains an AI function that automatically provides you with text suggestions for your sermons. In addition, you can have chapters of your comments as well as search results explained in short form by a "summarize" function. You also get some expensive commentaries added. There's nothing wrong with giving it a try for 10 bucks. But I don't think you're currently missing much if you already have a good library and access to free AIs on the net.
For clarity... If you are not already on the regular beta channel and you want to test out Logos Pro features while they are in beta, you'll need to be a part of the Faithlife group. If you are already on the regular beta channel and you are a Logos Pro subscriber, you will be able to automatically test the beta features without being in the Faithlife group.
