Full feature upgrade vs Logos 10 Gold without full feature upgrade

What is the difference between a full feature upgrade and Logos 10 Gold without the full feature upgrade, besides the books? If I don't buy the full feature upgrade with a Logos 10 package, will I lose functionality when Logos decides to do away with Faith Life Connect?

As a Faith Life Connect subscriber, will the full feature upgrade add anything to my usefulness?

I read in another thread that when the AI subscription replaces the Faith Life Connect, I will lose functionality? Is this true?

I also read that if I don't upgrade to Logos 10 package or the Logos 10 full feature set, I am likely to be unable to use new titles when they are released because I am still on a Logos 9 (Silver) license. Is this true?

Upgrading to Logos 10 Gold without the features means you won't get the incremental features added in a full feature upgrade.

But I'm not sure I'm properly understanding or answering your question.

If you are currently relying on Faithlife Connect to get access to the features in the full feature upgrade AND if that Connect subscription ends you would lose access to those features unless either you buy the feature upgrade or subscribe to a new offering from Logos (not yet defined)

Assuming you have the level of Faithlife Connect that includes all the features of the full feature upgrade then buying it won't add any value.

We understand that there are likely to be four subscription tiers - we would need to know the details of those tiers (assuming that is what eventually happens) to see the impact on existing subscriptions.

Logos has already moved nearly everyone to the Logos 33 (Logos 10 current release) so that they support only one version of the code. How it behaves is a matter of licenses but the chances are that you have been running "Logos 10" for several months.

Is there an option to purchase Gold without the Feature Set? Gold and up contain the Full Feature Set plus all the books. The Full Feature Set upgrade would be just purchasing the Feature Set and saves some due to not including the books.

Yes - but I forget the details.

I think if you were a Faithlife Connect subscriber you were given the option to just buy the library and not the feature set as well. But I may be wrong about that.

Unless things have changed, one could contact Sales and just get the library, not the full package (which includes features)

In the early days of Logos Now and Faith life Connect, several features were promoted as enhancements to the menu's. I assume these enhancements would be included in the full feature set. The incremental features you mentioned probably are in the Faith life Connect subscription.

MJ pointed out that my engine version is on version 10 so this would not be an issue. The post I was referencing stated that if a version 9 engine was still being used it could cause a problem.
