Wiersbe Bible Commentary Old Testament
Comments
Whether you are a pastor, teacher, or layperson, now you can study the Bible in easy-to-read sections that emphasize personal application as well as biblical meaning. Developed from Dr. Wiersbe’s popular “Be” series of Bible study books, this commentary carefully unpacks all of God’s Word.

The whole BE commentary is in some legacy libraries much cheaper than getting it separately

I also like this set by him. It contains new material not to be found in the BE series.

Better to buy in a Legacy Library

Yes! Before the publisher decides not to sell them anymore 😂
Thank you all very much for your contributions.
Wow, I never imagined that my question would trigger such a reaction!
What should I do now? My wish would be to have the comments from AT event also NT. Can someone help me to see more clearly? Wait for the release of the pre-bub or buy the "be" series. The prices are also very different.
Thanks for any advice.
It is not currently available, but rather "Gathering Interest": https://www.logos.com/product/298717/wiersbe-bible-commentary-old-testament
Thanks. Pre-orderd.
FYI Wiersbe's New Testament Commentary is also on pre-order...

Thanks. I preorderd it already. [:D]
Is this something different from all his "Be" series? Or his Bible Exposition Commentary on the NT?
My understanding is that the one volume OT Wiersbe Commentary is the same content as his BE series, which I got super cheap in this Legacy Library:

From the samples I’ve seen it looks the same.

I checked the samples (from the David C Cook website) for both the Old and New Testament commentaries and all their wording (*) is exactly the same as the "Be" Series commentaries already sold by Logos. The prepubs promise "new Biblical images, maps, and charts" - maybe that's the difference? I didn't see anything like that in the samples but they're only 11 pages long.
(*The sample for the OT commentary is from Genesis, and the outline is slightly different but the commentary is word-for-word the same. The NT sample is from Matthew and everything - outline and commentary - is the same.)
Based on the samples, the prepubs don't seem to be merely 'developed from ' the "Be" series but more like a repackaging. Pass for me.
