I just made a post to the desktop forum and the web forum software decided to forget me. It told me that I only had ever made one post to the forum.

Yep. I needed to change email addresses.
It’s bizarre that my post count is tied to my email address as opposed to my profile.
Customer Service should be able to help you merge the 2 post counts together if you reach out to them.
There's a lot about the 16-year-old software that powers these forums that's not ideal. 😀
We're looking into replacement forum software, possibly on the schedule for deployment this year.

They can't; this isn't actually possible without editing the database directly (which Customer Service can't do).
Donovan, I've merged your forum accounts (and counts) together; it should all be linked to the updated email address you're using for logos.com.

Customer Service is where we have been directed in the past in order to do so. That may also be why it took a little while as they probably had to redirect the request to someone else (like you for example [Y]). I am hopeful that the replacement forum software connects to our profile, as opposed to our email address.
