Beta 3 Anticipation
Well here it is Monday afternoon and I know that the programmers are busy prepping the next beta, so in anticipation of that event I just wanted to drop a Beta 3 participation thread in place.
Now who's ready for β3?
And in another unrelated note, I was reading some of the normal forums and I keep seeing questions that Logos 4 answers. How cool is that?
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Your a braver man than I. I know if I start looking at the 3.x forums I'll confuse myself and put a 4.0 message in the wrong spot :-) Not worth the risk.

Philip,
More than once I've gotten ready to click submit, or I've done so and then panicked as I look to make sure that I'm in the right forum!
As for β3, Now I'm really eager to get it because I just got my unlocks for the Christian History Magazine and I'm in no mood to start a new indexing on β2 this close to the udpate.
In the mean time I'll be perusing issue one in L3.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I just realized that. I clicked on icon to install. "This will take a VERY loong time" showed up but that was it.
But now it's downloading again. Maybe this time...

We posted some Beta 3 resources (updated People & Things) a little prematurely (ahead of the actual Beta 3 release). Beta 3 should be live now.

Thats the second update since I noticed the posting of your release notes that ended in the about page still saying beta 2. I've updated about 4 or 5 times in the last 2 hours. Is this expected?

Man that was cruel to me Philip. Starting and restarting here, and now that I've added the Christian History Magazines already re-indexing on β2!
Paused the indexing and restarted, and ah.. here it comes. a 52mb update.

Beta 3 is now installed...for real. Still indexing, of course. We'll see if there is an increase in speed as the beat 3 notes state.

I started with 1660 resources and I'm down to 8:18 an hour into it. Seems significantly faster so far.

I also like the new "Customize" options on the bottom of the home page. Very nicely done!
I don't think there's anything new in that customize option Joe. What are you seeing different?

I must have fallen asleep the only announcement I saw was that Zondervan was now available in a rather pricey bundle. [:)]

Yeah, Joe. Those were there in B2 as well (and b1) but I agree the ordering is welcome. And it sure sounds like there's more to come.
