Is there a way to pronounce Greek words in the Logos Mobile App?
The desktop Logos app has a facility to pronounce Greek and/or Hebrew words (subject to having the appropriate packages).
I don't see the same feature on the iPhone / iPad app.
Am I missing something or is the app missing this feature?

Hi George,
Tap on the english in an interlinear then when the pop up for Word Info click on the three vertical dots and click on Word Study guide. Next to the greek lemma is a speaker. Just click on it.

Thanks John, but I don't see a speaker icon in the (iOS) mobile app. Does this only work for particular interlinears?

I don't believe this is supported on mobile

You have to do a Greek (or Hebrew) word study.
Link to training video (at 2:00 in the video you will see the speaker icon): https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037449452-Logos-Mobile-Bible-Word-Study

Thanks HJ.
I followed the example in the video on my own iPad, but the Bible Word Study page shown on my device lacks the speaker button.
The speaker showed up on the desktop Logo application after I had purchased the "Greek Audio Pronunciation (Modern)" dataset, but not on my mobile devices.
I suspect some things may have changed on the mobile app since the video was made, as it seems to function slightly differently in other respects too. For example, double tapping on a word seems to highlight a phrase rather than the word tapped on. The way to look at a single word seems to be a long press instead.

Hi George, I wonder if you need a certain level base package for this to work. What base package do you own?

Hello John.
That might be the reason. I just have the basic $49.99 Logos 10 Fundamentals + some individual resources including the "Greek Audio Pronunciation Dataset (Modern)".
It does however seem curious that pronunciation of individual Greek words is available on the desktop but not in the mobile app.

I agree. I have never purchased a data set separately, so I do not know what is included. You may need to call or chat with support to see if the purchase of the data set includes mobile.

I definitely have access to this feature on (Android) mobile. I agree that it is almost certainly a case of having access to the feature based on your package purchase(s). But I think that a relatively low level of package (e.g. bronze) will include it?

Thanks Jonathan
Indeed, support have confirmed that this is only available with "Bronze" or upwards - so "Fundamentals" or "Starter" are insufficient.
A little disappointing, but at least it works on the Desktop application.
