Quote collection from external „resources“

Hi Logos community,

Is there any way to collect quotes not from internal Logos resources? For example when I read an article on a homepage and I want to save a good quote in Logos.

Is this possible?

Thank you and God bless you, Daniel

I really like this idea and think it would be a great way to formulate a plan for research and collect information into one place. Thid would also be a great way to analyze information through sections. If you find a workaround I’d like to know.

    Your options are:

    • a personal book collection as a .docx document e.g. Word (a common solution)
    • a clipping file in which you add non-Logos resources in the notes section (very clunky solution)
    • notes in their own "quotes" notebook (my preferred solution)

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Hi MJ, which option is the best using only an iPad? I might think option 3 is best for the iPad or what is your opinion?

    Thank you, Daniel

I've never used an iPad or tablet of any kind so I can't really say.

I would agree that option 3 is best for the iPad.

Option 1 is a non-starter as Personal Books are not supported in the mobile app.

And, as MJ mentioned, option 2 is rather clunky - probably even more clunky on mobile!
