What happens to all Notes (and Docs) if my local device crashes?Furthermore, is there a way to backup my all my Notes (and Docs) to a cloud service like Dropbox, Box, GDrive, etc? Is Logos on IFTTT or another automation service? Thanks!
What happens to all Notes (and Docs) if my local device crashes?
Nothing. They are backed up in the cloud - the most common reason for a synchronization cycle being noted in the status bar.
Nothing happens. Your Docs are stored on your device and Sync resumes after your device recovers and you restart Logos. The same is true if Logos crashes and you restart it.
There is a possibility of losing data if you were typing when the crash occurred, but the app uses a sophisticated database protocol that protects against corruption and data loss.

I would not use a cloud service due to potential file clashes. You can backup the Logos installation folder or the \Logos\Documents folder after exiting Logos. But if you have multiple online installations you already have backup!
Thanks for the explanation y'all! Good to know this. I have two follow up comments/questions:1. How do I find the Logos Cloud? I've found the Docs trash bin online only. Or is it just found on Logos web app.2. Logos definitely needs an IFTTT channel. That would be so amazing. Think of all the things you could do with that. Not just backup to another cloud service, but a myriad of other uses. If you've used IFTTT or another automation service, you know what I mean. Logos has been criticized as being a walled garden. It needs to be able to communicate with other apps and services.

...and Notes?
They’re inside the notebooks.

Actually you don't need to find it in case your local machine crashes. Even in the most destructive scenario, a total non-resolvable failure of the whole device, you simply install Logos on the new replacement device and it will automatically download and sync all your notes, documents, saved workflows etc. The same holds when you simply acquire a second device without all the issues.
