I don't know, but I don't think I'm getting the most out of SmartSearch! If anyone feels they are getting the most out of it, would you mind sharing some examples of how you do it? Thanks in advance.

I have enjoyed the smart search so far. I only use the search function on my books, not an all-search. I do this because I only want Logos to search what I have in my library, not what I don't currently own.
For example, I asked it, "What did John Calvin say about Martin Luther?" It gave me great results from my library.
I find I get the best results when I enter just the key terms rather than forming a question as one does for a chat bot
I've recently started using Pictorial Lives of the Saints as part of my daily devotions. Today I came across some martyrs I wanted to learn more about and used the smart search to see what I had in my library. I checked Factbook first and came up empty, but the smart search came through with some helpful resources.
I use smart search like this also. I like it.
I don't know if it is just coincidence, but it seems to me that the smart search is getting better at understanding input formed as a question. I am currently working on a lesson dealing with biblical canon. I posited the following question - “how do we know New Testament canon” and quickly received numerous helpful answers from my library.
I am finding it especially useful in researching things I used to ask Factbook about. When prepping for a class, I will ask it a question about something I think I know but may need a quick refresh. I really like being able to search the entire Logos catalog - I find different sources than mine, and using the "summarize" feature gives me a very helpful little paragraph.
If I search for a word in English, I only get results in Spanish. For example, if I search for "bautismo", I only get results in Spanish, but if I rephrase it as "baptism history", I get results in English. I can't see intelligent things.
I like it for the most part, but most of the results it gives me are from books I do not have. I wish I could turn that off. Feels like another sales tactic by Logos. I know I can do the summary but they don't seem all that helpful.
