My Logos Pro (Early Access) trial splash screen now says Logos "Premium".
Anyone else getting this?
Just thought it was interesting that there was a name change on the splash screen. About still says "Pro".
Thanks!
I do not have Pro/Premium.
Premium is a superior marketing name, as it is more inclusive.

Still seeing Logos Pro, but I'm on 33.0.363. Did you mean to post this in the desktop Beta forum?
Yes but yours is v34.0 whereas mine still shows v33.2.7 (April 2024). Are you on beta?
Perhaps Nathan accidentally filled his tank with high-test.[;)]

Same here, with no updates available.
Nathan, you have got special favor ,while the rest of us have to dream over it.
Mine says pro. I'm assuming it is beta.
I'm on the latest beta, and it says Pro.
I'm also seeing Premium.
Can confirm - there's more legroom. And free nuts.
I also see Logos Premium. It must be a Beta thing.
Thanks for the info! I've also seen it on non-beta splash screens (which is why I posted it here).
My trial expired last night though, so now my screen says L10 again. It was short lived.

:-) Hope it also comes with a good parachute since my trial just expired. :-)
mine says Logos Pro (early access).
The splash screen update is an error and is not expected. If you have subscribed to Logos Pro, then you should see Logos Pro on your splash screen. Expect to see your splash screens return to saying `Logos Pro (early access)` soon. Thanks for bringing this up.
Sounds like this will be the name of one of the tiers eventually, but I am only guessing.
I say that is a very good guess
I never paid any attention to this. So, if you paid for and own Gold, which should it say: "Logos Premium (early access)," or "Pro? "
pro
Thanks for the reply Mark. How does the difference affect one? Does it matter?
Nick explained above that there is no premium, only pro. At least for now.
Thanks for the reply Mark. Reason for me asking is that mine says "Logos Premium (Early Access)." I've owned it now for several years and bought "Gold 7" and been keeping the feature set current.

Well, let's just say we are now in a confusing time. Faithlife has basically confused everyone.
The splash screen has been fixed to read Logos Pro in v34.0 now released. It has nothing to do with the Base Package (books or Features) that you own (Gold 7, Silver 10, Full 10).
When will the premium be available, as I can only subscribe to pro and I dont need all the features, so would like to see what premium has to offer.
No one knows. Probably August or September
That's unfortunately very true.

I respect your viewpoints, but I think they have been very clear with everything. I have zero confusion.
My questions involved when it will happen and how much it will cost; I know they are still working on both of those.

Fair enough. Logos has basically confused some of us.
I am on a Trial Run on my Mac, and, so far, I don't see any difference between the Subscription Model and what I have been using. Yeah, it said I get access to 5-6 books that I doubt I will ever find use for. So, without any real changes to the desktop, or functionality, I don't see a need to add a digital subscription, unless, like I said, I am missing something. I went through this with my Photography Software Companies when they went to a Subscription Model. Everyone was confused when it was announced. The splash screen when I open Logos says Logos Premium (Early Access) V 35.0.
You should have received access to some AI-based services such as Smart Search.
Apart from that, any changes you see at the moment will depend on what you previously had. Had you purchased Logos Feature sets, did you have a Faithlife Connect subscription?
I am a Faithlife Subscriber, I believe. I did sign up for the upcoming Webinar on August 20th for the Desktop App, so, perhaps that will provide more information. Thanks for the quick response. I will continue playing around to see what I can learn as a novice user. I have been around since Libronix.

With Premium I don't believe you get the Sermon Assistant tool
Funny, I have version 35.
I'm not certain if the subscription plans have an overall name, but the three levels are Premium (the entry level, for folks like me), Pro (more for pastor types), and Max (academics, etc.).I have Premium. Did you sign up for the middle of the three levels ($99 for a year), or the base of the three levels ($69.99 for a year), as I did?
Hi Thomas
For if you aren't aware, the version number - 35 in this case - denotes the build of the software engine and is different from Logos Base Packages / Feature Sets (the last was Logos 10) or the three subscription tiers
Graham
Thanks, Graham, now I understand the inner workings of the coming Release. For myself, it could be very useful and faster, as someone who is just someone sitting in the pews, as we like to say.
