[Bug] Save Layout Button not working on iPad
There are a number of posts dealing with saved or saving layouts, but I do not think this has been reported. (If I’m wrong, feel free to delete/merge.) There is also a simple enough work-around to this issue.
Simple enough, when I press the “save layout” button nothing happens. Fortunately, and here is the work-around, if I try to clear the layout or open a different layout, I am presented with the dialog box asking if I want to save the layout. Selecting ”save” in the dialog box works and saves the changes to the layout. The only real problem arises if I want to save my layout in an interim state (i.e., save the layout at a certain point, but keep working in it).
iPadOS version is 17.5
Logos Mobile App version is 33.0.1 (0039).

This often happens for me as well...just yesterday actually.

My experience (on iPad) is that doing a layout save does actually save but, as you note the app does nothing to let you know it was saved.
I just ran a test where I changed the layout, saved the layout and then closed Logos. When I opened Logos, my change was there.
As I think about it the same issue happens on the desktop version. When I click the update icon, nothing happens but the layout is saved. Not ideal.

I can reproduce the issue the first time saving a new layout, but after that it was working properly. Is that your experience, too? Or, can you reproduce the issue repeatedly?

For me, as far as I can tell, the save button never works at all. I can’t provide any useful screenshots, what I can say is when I push the save button there seems to be no interaction whatsoever. I don’t know whether that helps.

That's plenty of information. Thank you for reporting. I'll write up a case for this bug.

This seems to be fixed in v.34.0.1. Now, when I press the save button, it reacts, and gives me a message that the layout is saved. Once I do that, I can switch layouts and Logos does not warn me that I have unsaved changes. Thank you. Small issue, perhaps, but it’s nice to have it working. Great big “thank you” to the Dev Team.

I’m on an iPad Pro with iOS 17.5.1 and Verbum 34.0.2.
Where would I find the “Save Layout” button? Or are your using it in the Web App?

On mobile, "layout" simply means a collection of tabs.
- Press "tabs" menu button
- click on the [X]tabs chevron button (bottom middle)
- In the "currently open" section, click "save as new layout."
