I am working on marking the flow of the text in Ephesians. I have read some posts such as https://www.logos.com/grow/learning-logos-free-discourse-features-webinar/ What discourse resources or trainings would you recommend for marking the flow of a passage?
Michael,
There are the visual aids such as the syntax graphs, there is the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament that shows the flow, however there is a chapter in Greek for the Rest of Us by Mounce that demonstrates how one does this for themselves using Jude. That along with the sentence diagram tool allows one to create a flow diagram. Even if you use the others, I recommend this for understanding the process.
If you go to a passage and open an Exegetical Guide it should link what resources you have that demonstrate syntactic matters.
I like the Passage and Exegetical Guides. As far as commentaries go I also like S.M. Baugh's EEC Ephesians Commentary. I also like Ephesians (Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament | BECNT) by Frank Thielman. Here is a good article on this topic. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/026009350705800105?journalCode=tbtd
Look at this too. https://www.logos.com/product/209948/discourse-analysis-of-the-new-testament-writings
Here is someone's notes on the topic of discourse analysis. https://publish.obsidian.md/obt-research-and-resources/Areas/Linguistics/Discourse+Studies/My+critique+of+Scacewater's+DA+presentation+for+Ephesians
I own this resource in print and it is good too. Diagrammatical Analysis by Lee L. Kantenwein
and it's in Logos: https://ref.ly/logosres/pdf:diaganalysis?art=a1

Thanks John. I have started working through Greek for the Rest of Us.

Thanks Christian. I will check these out.

Thanks NB. Mick. I have this resource in Logos.
I found this video on text flow. It is the text flow of Ezra 7:10. It is a training by Pastor Jack Hughes on using the Sentence Diagraming Tool in Logos. I found it to be very helpful. It is basically what I was looking for. Thanks everyone.
Good find.
