Can I update past marks?

I wasn't sure how to search for this, so it may be a duplicate.  I'm fairly new to Logos and have a custom set of mark ups (My Marks) based on marks I've used in other Bible software. I have manually added 460 tags for important verses from a favorite list, but didn't think about adding other tags for quick reference.

I just discovered that I can have my highlighting marks include automatic tags, so I've edited several of my highlights.  I tried to use the "Restyle Annotations" to change past highlights, but that only changed the highlight, but did not add the tag.

Is there a way to have the software go back and automatically add the tags for past highlights?

    Welcome, Tom.

I just discovered that I can have my highlighting marks include automatic tags,

    Is that via Labels  (Labeling)?

Is there a way to have the software go back and automatically add the tags for past highlights?

If you are using a default Label value when you highlight, it will not be done when you restyle because there is no way to know that you want that default applied to every highlight. You will have to use the Notes tool to apply label values to the highlights

What you might find useful is that you can Search for highlighting styles, if only because it will identify the Notes you have to 'tag'.

OK, thanks!  I was afraid of that. LOL!  At least the tags I'm trying change are contained in the early chapters of Genesis instead of throughout the Bible!

I'll look at search for highlighting styles - that may be the easiest answer, but I missed that while experimenting.  This software has wonderful array of features, but it takes a while to find what I want until I settle into a rhythm.

    Thanks!
