How to Smoothly Scroll Through Bible Text Windows
How best to scroll through Bible texts?
I am not a scholar nor do I read or use Greek or Hebrew or any of the ancient texts. I am also not a pastor or Bible teacher. I am a simple student of the Bible who very much appreciates (and owns) many of the resources available through Logos and also appreciates the flexibility with which I can arrange and save various setups for studying. I also use Logos across the Mac and iPad. (Sorry for the long-winded background)
My major frustration is when simply reading through a passage of Scripture in any of the various texts it is very difficult to use my trackpad or keyboard. Whereas I can smoothly scroll through non-text documents such as commentaries, I am unable to do so with Bible texts. It does scroll but at an incredible rate that is impossible to follow like it is jumping multiple verses or even chapters as I slide my fingers across the trackpad. The behavior/experience is confusingly and frustratingly different than scrolling through a book or commentary. (Scrolling through a book or commentary is much more similar to the wide array of text and reading tools available on the Mac and iPad such as book readers (e.g. Kindle or Apple Books), word processing programs, note taking programs, PDF readers, web browsers, etc. I also can't seem to find any way to use the arrow keys on my keyboard.
Do I need to change some setting? Am I misunderstanding something? Is Logos not intended for the person who mostly reads through Scripture?

Try selecting the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your bible panel. Towards the middle there is an option for columns - set it to none.
