Duplicate a Resource so I can start highlighting again from scratch

I just finished the KJV of the bible with highlights all the way through and ready to dive in again. I'd like to only highlight parts this time around to focus on a specific topic like OSAS and if there is anything Christians do to maintain there salvation. However, I don't see a way to duplicate the KJV bible so I can begin again with no highlights. I don't want to delete my older ones either, as I'd like to go back to it another day. What do I do? Please advise.

Do you know where these highlights are stored within the Notes Tool?

If, for example, they are all in a specific notebook then you could disable that notebook from displaying (giving you the option to go back to them later) and then create your new highlgihts in a different notebook. More details about highlights and notebooks is at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016517891-Highlighting#Manage

If you don't have these highlights in a specific notebook, then it is possible to select them all and move them to a notebook - this would enable you to do as outlined above. If you need guidance on doing this, please advise

Thanks, that sounds perfect. I just checked and none of them are in a notebook. I just created a new notebook "2024 KJV Highlights" and I would like to move all 7000 highlights into this notebook so I can disable them and begin adding highlights again, in a new notebook. Please advise how I should do this. Thanks. I the meantime, I'll check the link to see if the answer is there. Cheers

There is guidance on moving a block of notes (and highlights work the same) at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017978372-Notes-Tool#h_01GEVJDGZV9J45PXMZDXFTVPQK

And to select all the highlights you have in the KJV:

open the sidebar in the Notes Tool and click Highlights in the Type section

Then select the KJV from the Book section (I'll use the NIV as I don't have highlights in the KJV)

Now you should have the Notes Tool filtered to just show highlights in the KJV - and you can use the techniques in the linked article above to move those to your new notebook.

I use the logos app on my tablet mainly. Is there a way to hide the highlights in a notebook using the logos app on my tablet? I only see an option to hide all highlights, but this doesn't help me if I want to create new highlights from scratch as it will hide any new ones I tried to create in an attempt to hide the older ones. If this is impossible then I'm back to where I started and I would need to somehow duplicate the entire KJV into a fresh version. If either of these options aren't possible then that's a huge flaw for the software. I'll be stuck.

I'm afraid that, on mobile, we don't have notebook-level control over whether notes and highlights are displayed. As you have found, it is at the notes level.

And this isn't an option either.

Although there are multuple KJV versions available in the Logos store and you could potentially use a different one. I'm not at all suggesting this is an ideal solution for what you are seeing but the only option I can think of.
