iOS 18 and iPad OS 18
I have installed both and have no issues with Logos mobile. Performs as fast - or maybe a little faster - than with iOS 17.
That doesn't mean, of course, that the next update of iOS wont break Logos. Just for now, at this moment, it's working well on both devices.
Thanks!

I found a problem right away. Long pressing a word should bring up info about that word, depending on what resources you have in your library. While this still works fine on iOS 18, on iPadOS 18, it is broken. The modal dialog pops up and immediately closes itself. Was fine on iOS 17.

We need a response from Faithlife.

We need a response from Faithlife.
Why does Faithlife need to respond?
They only support at the moment Ios17 and 16. Any beta versions of an operating system means the one who installs assumes the risk that comes with it.

I was under the thought they supported iOS 18 sorry for my misunderstanding.

Same exact issue here.

They do not support beta operating systems, only stable releases, and then only back so many versions. In other words, they drop support as an OS gets too old.

Yes same here. You have to expect bugs with a beta. Hopefully fixed in the next beta release.

I’m having the same problem. I’m using an iPad Air M2 (2024).

This has been fixed in the latest beta app update: 35.0 (54). It will ship to the stable app in a few weeks when we release version 35 to stable. Thank you all for your patience!

Thanks for addressing the issue so quickly and so early on in the 18 beta cycle.

I get they don't support, but the issue CAN be worked on right now, and in anticipation of it becoming the current iOS/iPadOs.
A good response would be something like, "While we don't support BETA software in iOS, MacOs etc, we are aware of the issue and working on this issue."
This would make me look forward to upcoming Logos Update.

Does Ali's response - two above your post - address your concern?

Thanks, Ali! I unfortunately am still having the pop-up issue on the latest beta iPadOS version. Understand Apple’s beta versions may introduce bugs, so I’ll be patient.

I noticed that the issues I was seeing have been addressed. I had an update to the iPadOS and the Logos is at 35.0.0 (61).
Thank you Logos!

Daniel, are you still seeing this issue on the latest version 35.0?
