Both are quite detailed. I've recommended the Latin before, if only to 'fill-out' Logos having more than just a greek perspective. Both are looking at pre-Constantine.
The Early Text NT is especially good, since it effectively, drills below Comfort's manuscript volumes:
- Each gospel, examined by manuscript, with lengthy discussion of variences
- Paul's letters, as evidenced, again detailed examination
- The writings/letters similarly
- Early use by the church fathers
- Early translations and their significance.
One problem, these days, is prices. I got mine cheap, about 8 years ago, and OUP's are becoming unaffordable, even Kindles. So.
