Q: Is it possible to do a library search using Factbook(?) tags?
Hello everyone,
I've been working on tagging books in my library. I've found that several of the books do not have community tags, but they do have what look to be Factbook tags when I look at the info panel of a book:
When I click the Anglicanism tag, the Factbook entry has breadcrumbs which I suspect might play into a search string:
Is it possible to do a library search using values like "Anglicanism" or "Prayer Book"? I know that tags are searchable using the keywords "tag:" and "mytag:". However, without any initial tags to work with, these keywords don't work.
Thank you,
Sean

To my knowledge, you can't use them in search strings, but you can use them in filtering the library via the Factbook facets. You can then use your own search strings to dig deeper. Note that those things are a bit inconsistent, though: Factbook facet "Anglicanism" is under Belief System, fair enough, but gets only a small number of hits - many more are found under Belief System "Church of England" and we can't combine facets...
Have joy in the Lord!

Thanks for that insight, Mick. I'll play around with those facets and see if that will help speed up the tagging process. There's a couple of hundred of those untagged books. [:)]

Tag: will show mytags and community tags. Lacking any of these, the Factbook tag can be used to locate books in Library to which you can add your own tag (mytag).
