Passage Guide on Desktop App
When you use the Passage Guide on the desktop app, are the only commentaries that show up the ones that you have downloaded or does it search your library whether downloaded or not?

Welcome to the forums. It reflects all the commentaries you own whether or not they are downloaded.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thank you! I was convinced of this, but I am having issues with the desktop app.

I just tested this and found it to not include non-downloaded commentaries. I have all non-downloaded books tagged as "cloud" and just included that tag in the commentary section and received no results. I have 24 commentaries in the cloud and I made sure I was at a reference that would be a hit in at least one of those commentaries.
Perhaps I am missing something.

I appreciate you taking the time to test it for me. Currently, that is exactly how it is working for me. I am reasonably certain this was not the case a week ago. I would really rather avoid downloading everything in order to use those types of features.

John, please report it as a bug.

John, if you do report as a bug, I would be curious to know what kind of response you get. I spent about half an hour on the phone yesterday and was assured that my app was working properly. The solution was to simply download all the resources, which seems excessive to me.
I am reasonably certain this was not the case before.

The Passage Guide has never shown non-downloaded commentaries (so this is not a recent bug or regression).
(Factbook on desktop used to show cloud resources, but we stopped doing that to bring consistency with PG and fix some other bugs; see https://community.logos.com/forums/p/223265/1301120.aspx#1301120 and https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_35.0_Beta_4. Perhaps you're thinking of the behaviour from Factbook, not PG? We hope to integrate cloud resources into the desktop application more in a future release, but I don't have any firm timeline on when that might happen.)
To show commentaries in the Passage Guide, you need to download them.
