BUG! SDA Bible Commentary

Hi there,

SDA Bible Commentary series comes in up to 12 or 13 volumes with nigh on 1000 pages in each.  The accepted abbreviation for finding information via page numbers has been and should be 1SDABC247 (similarly 3SDABC247; 5SDABC 247, 10SDABC247) with the preceding numeral indicating the volume number and the succeeding numeral/s indicating the page in that volume.

The preceding section of every commentary volume before any Bible reference can be used is essentially unavailable to users due to each page reference provided by the user defaulting to the first volume, ie, volume 1, that is, 1SDABC247.

This relatively recent update to Logos 9 makes it virtually impossible to access nigh on 300 pages of reference material, background or historical information which cannot by Bible text references, unavailable to users of Logos UNLESS they have access to hard copy of the text.

Suggestion: Encoders, please revert back to the previous referencing methodology OR one that allows access to this presently unavailable material.

bumping in hopes of getting an appropriate answer.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks for the 'bump' ... much appreciated ...

I thought I'd posted that a solution has been found.  Logos has redesigned the 'short-hand'.

It is now SDAC 5 or SDAC 7 etc

    Thanks again
