Tagging in Augustine's "Teaching Christianity"
I don't understand why the reference shown is to Augistine's On Christian Doctrine as opposed to the book i am looking at
Is this a tagging issue or am I misunderstanding something?

"On Christian Doctrine" is another name for the same book as "Teaching Christianity". The Latin Name "De Doctrina Christiana" which shows up in your tab, is literally translated "On Christian Doctrine".
Logos carries multiple different English translations of the same book, under these two titles (sometimes without the "On")

Yes - but the thing that surprised me is that if I make a note linked to a selection it is anchored against On Christian Doctrine as opposed to the book I am reading. This makes it impossible (at least difficult) to make a note on this particular book and then get back to that place from the note.
EDIT: Please ignore the above, I am no longer seeing this behaviour. I may have been confused.....

What is confusing you is that the reference for the text reflects the common title for the text not the title of this particular translation. It the same as the Bible book Qoheleth having milestones of Ecclesiastes.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
