Feedback: AI summary is not detailed enough

I like the idea of the AI summary feature, but find that when I use it, it just isn't detailed enough. Today I even found myself then just copying and pasting the text into ChatGPT 4o or Claude Sonnet to have them summarize it, and I found both of their summaries much more useful and detailed.

    Absolutely agree. If it stays in its current form, then I will not subscribe when it goes officially live in the Fall.

    It could be more detailed and better formatted for reading

    I was using this feature today with the new UI to be able to easily select chapters or subsections of chapters to summarize and actually had a really nice experience, especially as i was reading a book that had subsections marked, by summarizing first the chapter, then each subsection. i suppose where it is a bit lacking still is with longer chapters where no subsections are available

    one feature in the new ui that could be helpful and probably pretty easy to implement is to summarize the "selected text".
