Text Comparison Tool is messed up
The Text Comparison Tool lays out multiple texts neatly on top of one another.
However, it generates a mess when using the Export/Copy function.
Please fix :-)

Could you please explain what you find to be "a mess" about how that export/print preview is laid out? Hebrew reads right-to-left, so this is exactly what I'd expect. Or did it export the wrong verses (Gen 1:1-7 when you had selected John 3:3-6 in the tool)?

It's the wrong verses.

What are you expecting to show for the BHS which does not include the passage requested? That is your root problem isn't it. Rather than bypassing the invalid Bible, it is providing the right number of verses from the position within the BHS i.e. the beginning. I agree that this is a bug which should be fixed but until it is, you can remove it from the list of Bibles and get correct results.

I can't reproduce in Windows 11, Verbum 35/Logos 35. Are you on Mac?

Thank you for all the replies. I appreciate everyone's willingness to help.
Sorry for any confusion. It was a quick post and I used two different screenshots.
The issue simply is that the comparison tool shows each verse with the English then the Hebrew, then the next verse with the English and the Hebrew, etc.
When I choose the Print/Export it puts all of the English together in one lump and then the Hebrew together in one lump.
If I had to choose an option I would pick the first one, but at this stage Logos should improve the Print/Export to allow both. It's funny that it shows one layout and then swaps it on export. Not everyone does their complete workflow in Logos. I do things in Microsoft Word such as layouts etc.
To be consistent, I will attach the SAME passage below, both from Old Testament :-)

See if switching the view from Vertical Layout to Automatic Layout will group it better.
What I'm seeing is, in the TC window, it separates verse-by-verse but in the PE window it groups the verses within a translation. (Switching to Automatic Layout will put the text blocks side by side and may be a usable format for you).

Thanks for the info. When I choose Automatic it puts things in columns unfortunately. If I specifically choose Vertical I get a nice vertical layout until I go to Print/EXport as shown in my last pair of picture. I really need to have the vertical layout working. Of course I can do multiple copies using the Verse Copy tool but that will be a lot of extra formatting work.
