Question about highlighting

When I right-click on a verse reference, I always get an option to highlight the verse:

But when I right click on a word or phrase, I almost never get that option (although 1 time in 20 I do!). I'm a new user, so I'm not sure if this is expected behavior or if I'm doing something wrong.

    I'm not sure why you're sometimes getting different results, but i only highlight from the menu on mobile. You can create your own highlights panel and assign hotkeys. I made a panel just like my set in Accordance and use the keyboard for all highlighting on desktop.

    If you select the Selection option on the left of the menu you will get highlight options.

    With lemma selected (as in your screenshot) you won't get the option (and I'm not sure if that is intended or not!)
