If I were to upgrade during the current Logos 10 sale to Bronze feature set level would I qualify for Logos Premium at the early access price of $6.99/mo?
Hi Paul, that's correct since you own the bronze feature set you would qualify for the Logos 10 owner's discount on Logos Premium. You could subscribe monthly or yearly ($69.99/year). You may also be interested to know that there will also be an additional 5% back in a annual reward coupon. However, that perk is only available in Pro & Max. (Which would require a L10 Silver or Full feature set respectively to be able to get the L10 owner's discount).
Thanks Taylor
Is it right that there's an additional 5% on all purchases (at time of purchase) and an additional free book of the month for Logos Premium subscribers?

Can anyone tell me if the Logos 10 base packages in the sale, now include the full feature set, like they used to back in the day? I am a Connect Essentials no library subscriber, who doesn't actually own the FFS for Logos 10, as it came with my subscription.
I was looking at the sale and the possibility of buying the FFS or some additional library before the sale ends, and the product page seems to suggest that Logos 10 Gold includes the Full Feature Set, see my screenshot below.
Can someone who has bought in the sale, confirm that it is included?

Please ignore my previous post as I have discovered that it is showing that way because Faithlife have last night, very kindly given the FFS to long time subscribers of Logos Now/Connect.
I am very grateful.

That was my understanding. Every subscriber get 5% discount and additional free book. The 5% back annually is for Pro and Max.

At $6.99/mo I'd be quite happy with the initial 5% off every purchase, although I think I'd need to invest around $270 to qualify, and suspect I might prefer to spend that on books I have in pre-pub. I don't remember reading that on any official announcements, but as I've also admitted I haven't followed the debate too carefully as I've never previously bought into paid versions of the software despite spending thousands of dollars on books.

Will we be able to continue using our L10 features after the new model releases if we don’t subscribe?
Yes. As long as you own the features, that is. If you own them you keep them for life. If you have them through Connect, you either have to buy them and keep them for life, or migrate to the new subscription.

If I don't purchase the logos 10 sale
Will I still have all the features after 2 years from the subscription

You will still obtain the Legacy Fallback License after two years of subscription, which will include all features that fall under your subscription category and are deemed to be offline features. With a Pro or Max subscription, this will likely closely resemble the Logos 10 full feature set, but it will not be identical. It is worth noting, however, that the Logos 10 full feature set qualifies you for the subscription at a discounted rate. It is possible you are eligible for this discount through some other means, like a connect subscription. If not, however, in my estimation purchasing the full feature set during the present day sale will save you money in the long run.

I was also wondering if there was going to be a good reason to purchase the full feature set before it goes away, and this is as good of a reason to do so. Sound wisdom and logic throughout. Thanks for this.

Thanks I appreciate the help. It's so hard to choose and I really would love to try to afford it.
Will see for the end of the month. Lord Willing I can manage it. If not it's all fine too.
Thanks again for the help
God bless

If you need to save money, you could go with the bronze feature set and get the discounted premium subscription. It would have fewer features than pro or max, but would only cost $70/yr.

For the bronze it works out 347 euro and the full set cost 363 euro
One has 30%and the other has 50%
Not to worry ☺️
Time to start saving

What do you think would be a better option for me logos gold Baptist or logos full feature set and subscribe to logos Max
I don't have a lot of money so I want to try to get the best option as much as possible
I'm not a preacher or anything of the sort I do like to study the Bible occasionally I will share a little mini story but that's once every 3 weeks or maybe twice a month please tell me understand I find it so hard to make a decision

Personally, with the price point it's at, the Full Feature Set I think gives the most benefits and discounts toward the new subscriptions through early access. That's just my 2 cents.

So am I understanding this right. If I buy Silver Features Set (130€ for me right now) I will get 30% better price if I decide to subscribe to L Pro. Now, if that's $10/month instead of 13 or let's even say $15...I?m still paying 130€ to save 3-5USD a month. It will take me 26 months before that investment starts paying of. Even more if the difference is only $3/month...then it's 43 months.
Of course, I can always just buy the features now and never subscribe, but that will basically mean I get no updates in months to come.
Or am I missing something.

I purchased the Logos 10 full feature upgrade today. So hopefully that will make the premium and pro subscriptions much more affordable when they come out. It already reduced the cost of the libraries substantially. [Y]

Are the Legacy Libraries going away as well? Will there be a promotion on those before they go if they are going? Thanks.

There's no indication that they would go.Bruce Ivany said:Are the Legacy Libraries going away as well?

I would definitely expect that. Possibly there will also come a set of L10 Legacy Libraries (maybe in 2025).

These subscriptions will replace Preaching Suite, Faithlife Connect, and other Logos feature sets. Libraries will still be available for purchase separately (e.g., Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.). New Libraries will only be available to Logos subscribers, however Legacy Libraries will be available to everyone.

I am curious as to what they mean by this.

I do not think this is the case as the link says the books and libraries will be for sale to everyone. Please use your link and read under "Can we still buy and keep books..."

Logos Early Access | FAQ">
Can I still buy and keep books, or will they be a subscription too?None of this changes. You’ll still be able to purchase books, either individually or in a collection, and you’ll own them forever.
You’ll still be able to buy permanent access to Logos libraries and any other books from our catalog. To purchase the latest libraries you will need to subscribe to Logos, however our Legacy Libraries will be available to everyone. In the future, we may add rental options for those who want it, but we don’t foresee a time when we’ll stop selling permanent licenses to books and curated libraries.
My exegesis:
- Anyone can purchase books individually
- Anyone can purchase books in a books in a collection
- Anyone can purchase legacy libraries
- Only people with subscriptions can purchase the latest libraries
- No one without a subscription can purchase the latest libraries
Fortunately, I am rereading Computational Logic and Human Thinking and was able to apply natural language (English) rules to supply the missing condition in the sentence between the two sentences I bolded.

And what about the elite group that owns both a Logos 10 Full Feature Set and a Verbum 10 Full Feature Set i.e. the Fuller Feature Set? (accidental pun noted).

I joined the group last week. You just can't have too many full-features these days.
But I wonder if the next shoe to drop, would be the monthly freebies and big sales. Those would make more sense to require subscription.

Me too! I have Logos 10 Full Features, but I wanted the optionality of choosing the subscription that best fits my needs (Logos subscription vs. potential Verbum subscription), so I went and bought the missing Verbum features. It may end up being wasted $. Oh well, we'll see.
I believe in a Win-Win-Win God.

Please don't suggest that. Both of those are the only reasons I continue to expand my library.

Thank you. This is a very important answer.
I'll get full feature set upgrade for myself, knowing that I can get the libraries later. (I really appreciate the legacy libraries. While sometimes they lack the NEWEST books, they more than make up for that in having an impressive array of solid choices.)
I wish I could afford to buy FFS for my sons who are preparing for ministry, but I'm thinking I can afford to buy them Preaching Suite Feature Set to lock in those basic features, so if they decide not to subscribe at a later date, they will still have the basics covered. It looks like it has features comparable to starter for $50 less than starter after their academic discount.

So If I have a robust library now, (9 and 10 collectors), Portfolio of 7 other traditions from ver 5 onward, tons of other collections (library shows 21k+ docs). And full feature sets now. The only thing in the subscriber packages of any value to me, that I can't purchase perpetually, would be any new features. Any books I don't have, that are in new libraries would most likely be available to be purchased separately or in a series or is that not the case? Thanks in advance.

The only question is future library availability (vs old or legacy ones), and access to major sales. and freebies. In other words, book access might be fine, but pricing a question.

I know...it's my imagination or maybe not. You tell me?
Logos has more than 2 mil. users * 12,99 * 12 month = 321.000.000 mil a year. Maybe only half will go for subscription = 156 million.
Those are interesting numbers. But from earlier Faithlife comments, the bulk of customers are either mobile/free, or buy-once. Even so, nice numbers.

Form the latest email:
>> The new libraries released this fall will only be available for subscribers to purchase. Library purchases are a one-time transaction (not a subscription), and the books are yours forever.
So if if want one of the new libraries, all I need to do is subscribe for one month and then I can cancel the subscription?

That's how I read it. However, full feature set owners will likely lose the discounted subscription price eventually if using this strategy.

Can anyone please tell me apart from the AI features why would I subscribe
Just say I owned full features set why would I subscribe at all

There are a number of reasons I can think of:
- To gain access to new, non-AI, features as they are developed
- To be able to buy new libraries as they become available
- To get a discount on most purchases
- To receive a cash back on purchases each year
- To own non-AI features after two years
And there are probably others.

That is correct but we expect some will become available with the new subscriptions - and we currently have no details as to what those will be
