Hi,

I'm new to using L10 and am attempting to write a note against a verse in the KJV - that includes a hyperlink reference to a different verse in a different translation (i.e. in my notes against the heading for 2 Corinthians, I want to reference 2 Corinthians 12:1 from YLT.)

I may have just overlooked something simple - but any assistance offered would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Ben.

Hi Ben - and welcome to Logos and these forums.

I may have just overlooked something simple

I'm new to using L10 and am attempting to write a note against a verse in the KJV - that includes a hyperlink reference to a different verse in a different translation (i.e. in my notes against the heading for 2 Corinthians, I want to reference 2 Corinthians 12:1 from YLT.)

I'm not aware of a way to just type in a reference that includes a specific translation so we need to do this by pasting a link to the verse in the YLT.

In the YLT, open the panel menu (three icons at the top right and click the Copy Location as URL option

Then if you paste that into your note that will provide a hyperlink to the NLT verse.

If you wish, you could have the link associated with some text (as I have done with the word YLT just above the blue outline by selecting that text, then clicking the link button in the panel at the top of the note editor and pasting the link in there.

I hope this helps, please let me know if any of this doesn't work

    Graham

    Hi Graham,

Thank you very much for that - that's what I was looking for (perhaps not as neatly as I'd like - but gives the result that I was looking for).  Appreciate your prompt response to assist.

    Regards, Ben
