Any chance of updating Factbook tags???

It seems that a lot of times when I want to use Factbook (which I started trying to use recently) that a word in my bible is not tagged in Factbook or is tagged as linked to another word.

I wonder, is there any chance that users will be able to create tags in the bible for Factbook? If there is then I don't know how to do it.

One such word is James 1:1 "bondservant" (NKJV). Factbook lists Titus 1:1, James 1:1, 2 Peter 1:1 but misses Philippians 1:1 referring to Paul and Timothy. I would like to be able to create a tag on "bondservant" in Philippians 1:1 for Factbook, but it's not possible that I can find.

You can add Factbook tags by using the context menu - when you're in Selection mode, you can add Factbook tags from the list of available tags:

The Factbook tag list (and the translated as... section which does not follow the highest prio bible, but possibly LEB) doesn't know "bondservant" at all, those are all "slaves"/"servants"/"forced labor". Even if I use NKJV as highest prio bible it wont work.

I types words into the search bar

And it finds things within books, bible and so on.

But I can trype questions into the ai search bar

It know way more my search and gets better results than

just using some words and seeing what pops up.

Dose that make sense? It's my understanding of it I could be wrong

I have tons of "Tags" ... I use them fairly regularly. I don't see the "tag" system going away. imho - [8-|]

There are two very different kinds of searches available in Logos:

A text search where Logos looks for a string of letters with some controls for other forms, the case of the letter, etc. So, if you enter Abraham you will get the Biblical Abraham where he is called by that name, Abraham Herschel, Abraham Ecchellensis etc.
A tagging search where Logos looks for a tag rather than a string of letters. So, if you enter person:Abraham you get Abraham, Abram, forefather ... and any other term by which he is known. Bibles are nearly entirely tagged; encyclopedias and dictionaries usually have headwords tagged, other books: research editions are more tagged than readers' editions, other tagging is not systematic but may be added by Logos or users.

The Factbook tags to which the OP referred are based on the Logos Controlled Vocabulary and allow any user to add entries that will cause the entry to appear in the appropriate Factbook page. They currently do the disambiguation that AI leaves as false positives. Over time, I think Logos will be able to increase their tagging using these more powerful AI tools as they were already using AI techniques for the coding.
