Notes question - When did it change?

I am in Notes just about every day, studying, changing, updating, etc. but something has changed now....

In the NKJV I had created notes to every book in the bible like the following example:

Philemon   ---> Heading title in NKJV when you go to Philemon 1:1.

I had created a Note link to that title word "Philemon" and had an icon that showed up in front of that word. And I used to be able to go to Philemon and click on that icon and see my Note I had created for that word. Done it more than once or twice.

Today, I noticed that the icon is gone... vanished... disappeared. I still have my Note though and if I go into Notes and look under the Notebook I created for Notes like that, the Note is there. But now there is no reference to it in my bible, mainly because the Icon has vanished.

When did this change? Is this change permanent? How do I get my icons back in my bible?

Edit: The icons show up on my android mobile.... just not on my desktop. So that proves I am seeing right! lol

Thanks.

The usual reason for this is not having notes (or the correct notebook) turned on in the visual filters menu.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Thanks!

That was it. I did not have that particular Notebook checked. Guess I had turned it off sometime. I guess now that if I create another Notebook, I have to remember to go into Visual Filters and turn it on?

Is there a way to just check Notes and Highlights and have it automatically turn on any Notebooks I've created?

By default, I believe that if you add a note to a notebook that hasn't been previously used within a particular book it will automatically be enabled in the visual filter menu

Very nearly - you can open the dropdown to the right of Notes and Highlights and click the Select all option

    Thanks Graham!

Had to un-click all the individuals first but then I could "select all". Guess its one way or the other.

    Thanks again!
