Hey guys, I am having difficulty with Logos AI and getting useful information back. For example. I asked Logos sermon assistant and AI searching for a biblical illustration of fathers not nurturing their children. Got no results back. Asked ChatGPT and had a result for David and Absalom and Eli and his two sons back in seconds. Am I doing something wrong or does Logos need to evolve in the AI search  and abilities. And if so, is that in the works!  Thanks

When I went to sermon assistant and selected "serious," "biblical," and "adults" for "fathers neglecting their children," I got five results:

[quote]In the story of the Prodigal Son, the father's response to his wayward son's return exemplifies God's unwavering love and forgiveness. This can serve as a powerful reminder for fathers who may have neglected their children, to reflect the nature of the heavenly Father in their own relationships.

Just as the parable of the Good Shepherd illustrates the deep concern and care that God, our heavenly Father, has for His children, fathers are called to reflect this same heart of love and nurturing for their own children. Neglecting this responsibility not only impacts the children but also distorts the image of God in their lives.

In the Bible, God frequently reminds us of the importance of fatherhood. Fathers who neglect their children not only fail in their duty but also miss the opportunity to reflect the loving and sacrificial nature of God to their children. It is an urgent call to all fathers to emulate the perfect Father in heaven.

Just as the Lord disciplines those He loves, fathers are called to discipline and guide their children in love. Neglecting this responsibility creates a void that only God's grace can fill. Fathers must recognize the impact of their neglect and seek to restore and nurture their relationships with their children, mirroring the Heavenly Father's unwavering love.

The Bible teaches that fathers are to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. Neglecting this critical role not only harms the children but also goes against God's design for the family. Fathers who have neglected their children are urged to seek reconciliation and recommit to fulfilling their God-given responsibility.

Logos has NOT implemented a chat bot - and I personally am glad they have not. It has created specialized AI assisted tools. Were you trying to use the illustration feature of the sermon/homily builder? That is what should help you in this case.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
