I was tracking down a Catholic group and discovered that I needed to know more about the emergent church movement to really understand what I was reading. So here is my background reading list Emergent Christianity reading list (logos.com) [quote]
Is this a reasonable list? Are there essential text omitted? Are any of these books marginal rather than core? Are there subgroups I need to consider?
Are you only looking for books available in Logos?
No, several books on the list are not available in Logos.
I'll add one to the mix:https://www.logos.com/product/197990/evangelicals-engaging-emergent?queryId=cdb9835cf958367f7db4f9323f065dd7 This article may have some insight to some resources in the latter column:An Emerging Church Primer - 9Marks : 9MarksFor a while there, 9Marks had several journal articles and web articles that interacted with the conversation. I can do some digging if you're interested in journal articles, though I don't have 9Marks journal on Logos unfortunately.

It's now called Progressive Christianity. New name, but more or less the same thing. See here: Another Gospel? A Lifelong Christian Seeks Truth in Response to Progressive Christianity | Logos Bible Software (especially chapter 5).
Thanks, Frank! I recently picked up that book, and am looking forward to spending more time in it. It is worth noting that Dan Kimball, mentioned in both the 9Marks article you shared and in that Evangelicals Engaging Emergent book, has disassociated himself with Emerging/Emergent Church movement.
