changing text display name

My recollection is that there is a way to give a text a "nickname." However, I can't figure out how to do it. Also, if I do give it a nickname, will it just show like this in the library? Or will it also show on open texts?

The reason I am hoping to be able to do this is because Logos is calling two different texts the SAME thing, which is causing confusing during text comparison.

Thank you very much for the screenshot. Using the ESV as an example, I see the ESV already has a nickname of "ESV" to show in the Library. But then when it actually opens it says "English Standard Version." Thus, in order to get it to say "ESV" when open, the only way to do it is to delete the "English Standard Version" and have BOTH the long name and short name say ESV?? That seems problematic because it would lose a lot of info.

The ESV specifically is ok being called "English Standard Version" when opened, but it is a real problem that both the BHS and BHW are both called the same thing. I am concerned about deleting all the info though.

"ESV" is the Short Name of "English Standard Version". Logos normally shows the standard name, but if the place is restricted will automatically switch to the short name. You can edit both of them - and don't worry about the info. If you delete all the text, it will automatically revert to the Logos-provided name / short name.

From you screenshot they are called different names that just start with the same two words - I wonder why the system didn't switch to the short names, though. Here it seems beneficial to put the short BHS/BHW in front of the standard name (some users have done this with publication years for resources)

EDIT: it seems this is a Mac specific of how to display multi-resource-panels. On Windows it doesn't switch to short names either (which is probably a bug in the common codebase), but doesn't break at the word ends, so "St" and "W" remain visible even in a very small width:

I am also wondering why the system didn't switch to the short names. Nonetheless, your idea of just adding the short names to the beginning worked, and now I can see which text is which. [:)] Thank you for your help.

Oh, that is really interesting how it is displaying differently on a Mac vs PC. I am glad I had posted my screenshot. Also, here is an updated screenshot with the improved names.
