Questions for Hebrews 6:13-20

Q's from LessonMaker came from a Hidden resource, but they related to the ESV pericope for the passage.

Q's from "Hebrews: How Jesus speaks into everything" had to be extracted from Lessons 7 and 8.

Lessons 1, 2 and 6 were not relevant, but how were Lessons 3 thru 5 successfully omitted?.
The first Q from Lesson 7 was not quoted in its entirety until "moved to.Bible Study".

Q's from "The Teacher's Commentary" come from Warnings that apply to the whole chapter 6 as well as other chapters.

Q's from "Hebrew and James (HNTC)" apply to the whole chapter.

There is no way to delete the "blocks" (I had to erase all the text).

The first block below the Title was not formatted correctly e.g. for Heading 1, and could not be erased/deleted.

Blocks with Questions could not be erased properly even after erasing the text and then the Question number.

The citation from copied text appears in a separate block.

The editing Toolbar needs to be consistent with Notes/Clippings

EDIT:

The user would have to clarify Bible references in selected Questions e.g. 6:!3-14 is not hyperlinked.

I found it playing around. Not very intuitive and more of a work-a-round but...

Place your curser at the very beginning of the text for the question and hit back space.

You may need to hit the back space a second time ti get rid of the text box but it will delete the question.

EDIT: Will kind-of. This sort of works. Select all of the text to the question and hit backspace twice.

Q's from "The Teacher's Commentary" come from the start of the chapter

This is a difficult problem to solve. Right now, if a published Bible study is on Hebrews 6, and you've selected Hebrews 6:13-20, we'll show you all the questions in the Hebrews 6 Bible study, apart from those that explicitly refer to a verse outside that range. So if a question said, "What challenge did the author give to his readers? (6:1)", we'd exclude it. But if it just said, "What challenge did the author give to his readers?", and the Bible study we'd include it.

Right now, if a published Bible study is on Hebrews 6, and you've selected Hebrews 6:13-20, we'll show you all the questions in the Hebrews 6 Bible study, apart from those that explicitly refer to a verse outside that range.

That does not explain the erroneously included Lessons in the "Hebrews: How Jesus Speaks..." resource.

The behavior for Hebrews: How Jesus Speaks into Everything is surprising me. We'll look into that one and figure out what is going on.

"The Teacher's Commentary" has problems throughout. Currently we're planning on omitting it entirely and this should be reflected in the next update.

I think you should reconsider using books that have been Hidden. If I wanted a book to be revisited it would be in the Cloud.

All of Part IV belong to a Bible Milestone range of Hebrews 5-6.

Lessons 3 through 5 were omitted from the results because the questions include specific verses within the milestone range of the active milestone. When this happens the narrower verses override the broader milestones for the entire section. If you were to run a Bible Study Builder on Hebrews 5 you'd find results from Lesson 3.

The primary reference for a Bible Study Question is the active milestone unless the question features a Bible reference within the milestone range. Then it becomes the primary reference.

If you were to run a Bible Study Builder on Hebrews 5 you'd find results from Lesson 3.

He 5:11-14 (Spiritual Immaturity) includes Lesson 1, 2 (which don't fit the pericope), excludes Lesson 3, 4 (which do fit), includes Lesson 5 (which fits the pericope exactly) + 6, 7, 8 (which don't fit).

In Beta 2 the pericope name changed to "The problem of Immaturity" but the results were the same.

Part IV, Lesson 3 is omitted because the questions found in that lesson include specific questions that fall within the Hebrews 5-6 range but are not Hebrews 5:11-14. I can't check all the potential sources but care needs to be taken that exclusion of resource is not exclusion of a theological position - resources tend to reflect the historical format used within the tradition covered by a publisher.

The structure of the book is ... odd. It's strange to me that they would label Part IV as covering Hebrews 5-6 yet make the readings for Lesson Two on Hebrews 3-4.

We could likely update the book and add Bible milestones at the "Read" level which would change how the questions get distributed.

We've only taken this measure with one book so far and we're reserving it for cases where a book has input boxes but the book is structured in a way that we feel it too difficult to extract any meaningful questions that are able to stand alone.

My issue is that many Q's are not relevant to my passage due to the structure of the book (see Kyle's comment). The software is looking at book milestones but the actual scope of a Lesson is outside that milestone.
