It's great news. Thanks.
Improvements Are Coming to the Logos Forums!
Hello Logos Community!
I’m Jason Stone, Senior Community Manager at Logos. We’ve got some major updates rolling out to our forums in the coming weeks, and I’d like to give you a glimpse of what’s ahead.
We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and working behind the scenes to create a more efficient and user-friendly experience. These updates will make it easier for you to connect with fellow users, fully leverage our products, share your suggestions with us, and stay up to date with the latest company news.
What’s Changing?
Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice a significant transformation in our forums. While the design and capabilities will be enhanced, this is much more than just a facelift—we’re building a more powerful platform to serve you better. Here’s what you can expect:
- Improved Forums: We’re making it easier for you to engage with other Logos users, share insights on Bible study, product tips, and much more. Whether you’re a pastor, student, or layperson, we want to strengthen the sense of community that makes Logos so special. You can expect new features like user tagging, reaction options for posts, improved mobile usability, and more!
- A Space for Your Voice: We plan to integrate product feedback (from feedback.logos.com) into the forums! This new platform will make it easier to submit product suggestions and feedback, with the ability to upvote and comment, empowering you to play an active role in shaping the future of Logos.
- Search and Stay Informed: Whether it’s company announcements or product updates, we’ll make sure you have the latest information right at your fingertips. You’ll be able to search across forum posts, product suggestions, support articles, and release notes, and even subscribe to notifications in different categories.
- Access to Support Material: Finding help for Logos, Verbum, or Proclaim will be quicker and easier than ever. We’re consolidating support materials so you can find answers in one place, without needing to search across multiple platforms or contact support. And if you do need help, our team will still be here for you.
Brief Downtime Coming
As we finalize these changes, there will be a short period of downtime. We understand this might cause some inconvenience, but we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. We’ll provide updates both here on the forums and at status.faithlife.com.
If you need assistance during this brief downtime, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at logos.com/contact. We’ll be ready to assist with any urgent issues.
Looking Ahead
These updates are all about serving you better. We want to help you connect, learn, and grow with Logos more effectively than ever. Our community is built on a shared love for God’s Word and a passion for deepening our understanding through digital tools. These changes are designed to help you make the most of every product, resource, and feature we offer.
Thank you for being such an important part of this community and for helping us make it even better. I can’t wait for you to experience the improvements ahead. Let’s keep growing, learning, and sharing together!
Stay tuned for more updates—and thank you for your continued support!
Best regards,
Jason Stone

Thanks Jason this is good news. I use to post more often on the forums but dropped off for a bit. glad to see it getting some "love" and am excited about the coming enhancements. Since I have been using Logos since the Pastor's Library days and Libronix so the future looks bright.
Thanks again and blessings to you and the Logos Team
In Christ,

Will we be losing all previous discussions when the new software appears? Or will all these old conversations be integrated and grandfathered in somehow?

Great questions, Ben! The Logos community has been at it for years and that context is invaluable so our plan is to move all of the content from community.logos.com and feedback.logos.com into our new community platform.

Sound dangerous to me fella
We got this—don't worry!
Also, great to hear from you! I've always appreciated you, Antony.

I'd like to see a better filtering system. Also I can find my own content better. Or the content from a specific other user.
Also if I'm in General only find in General not everywhere. BTW the same in Logos. Means if I'm on the front page then search overall. If I'm in a subforum then only there.
Dark Mode please.

You may already know, but if you click a user's post count, you can see all of their posts and search within them, including your own. Here is a search for your posts with the phrase "own content" in the General forum. https://community.logos.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=%22own+content%22&u=138679&s=77&o=DateDescending

I hope the "improved mobile" is full mobile compatible functioning. It's been a LONG time coming. Also hope that there is a significant improving relating to the ability to filter out sub-forums I have no interest in seeing or reading.
Those two improvements would be outstanding!

I'm very pleased to see this evolution and to know that users are being listened to. This is fundamental for the future. Thank you!

Please continue to support RSS. I would likely stop reading the forums regularly if I can't read them in my RSS reader.
Paul, there are RSS capabilities built into the new system and we hope that will be sufficient for your needs. I am making a note to follow-up on the ability for community members to subscribe to particular categories.

the send-to-email function... Will I still be able to do that?
Just to clarify, do you mean email notifications concerning thread correspondence? If so, yes! If not, please provide me a bit more context.

Frank, thank you for taking a moment to drop a note. Those are solid concerns and in consideration of those points I think you will be pleased with the new platform!

I was referring to the Fourm Subscriptions feature (below).
I understand! Thank you, David.
Our users will still be able to subscribe to select categories and manage email notifications in a similar way.

Jason, currently if we update our Logos account email address, we lose access to view our previous posts etc.
Has this been rectified, or will we still have to contact CS to get the forum account linked with the new email address ?
Excellent question - I've lost a good chunk of posts through the years and have requested the merger that some have had Logos perform - yet to see it personally. Figure they are busy with the launch prep.
Having the ability in place to not lose the posts would be nice.

Kevin, Frank, and other users who share this concern, that's such a good question.
I understand why having all of a user's posts attributed to their most current profile and email is incredibly helpful for historical data. We're doing tests to confirm that posts remain attributed to the appropriate user. So far, so good, but know that this is top of mind.
Thank you for being a part of the conversation!

Thanks Jason, I am wanting to change email address again so will wait until new forum live and will feedback if issues or not
Excellent. Thank you, Kevin!

Hello Jason
I would love to have a better way to store single posts or whole threads for later.
Shared Favorites is not what I want. I want it to keep it only for me.
A list of all I have "Email me ..." would be great too. (Currently I have all I wanted to store in this category, but there could be a better way).
Maybe a say "Thanks" button. So not fill the forums with such things.
Thanks

I'm confused as my favorites are only mine. Where does one find shared favorites?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
I would love to have a better way to store single posts or whole threads for later.
Users will be able to Bookmark threads for future reference, similar to how one bookmarks a webpage on a browser. Would that be what you are looking for?

For this one here, do you mean a "Follow" or a "Subscribe" button so that you receive email whenever a new comment is made? There actually will be a "Follow" or "Subscribe" option!
Maybe a say "Thanks" button. So not fill the forums with such things.
We will be implementing Reactions, similar to popular social media websites. With that, a user could simply respond with a click to communicate a like, agree, insightful, and more. This may be a great solution to communicate you have read and appreciate a post or comment, without adding an additional update to the thread itself.

Thanks. Sound all great.
I have again wishes, maybe this is solved then but to mention it anyway: Faster site loading. If I open the forums it takes much longer than other forum websites.
A bug which hopefully will be fixed. If you click on the "Last" button. Often it goes to the first one. I guess this is if the site is full, but no entry on the next page. So after a new entry the "Last" button works again correct.
May you consider to add the feature go to the first not read entry. So if I have left a thread on post 123, and I open the thread again it leads me to post 124 or 123 to have the context or to just the page where 123/124 is. This would be a huge time saver.
The ability to contact a person directly via PM.
Thanks

The ability to contact a person directly via PM.That will see me away from the forums - a spammers charter and a stalkers free pass.
I only can say it works well on other Bible software forums. No spam, no stalking, etc. just personal contact. There are the ability to block other user, but I had never the use case.
Χριστὸς ἐν ὑμῖν, ἡ ἐλπὶς τῆς δόξης·
I have again two wishes:
1. To search for a User. For example I know a user has done a post, but I can't find the post. So I can search for the user and then search in his/her posts.
2. Currently it is annoying to only have the post above by answering. I would love to have the full thread. Answer on a multiple posts would be easier.
Thanks
