New Installation: Missing Books
I installed Logos on a new laptop and noticed that after downloading and indexing, the new installation has 17 fewer resources than the old installation. How can I find out (1) which resources are missing and (2) how I can download them?

The very first idea that comes to mind is whether those 17 books were Personal Books built on the old machine but not uploaded.Have joy in the Lord!

You are right. The difference is caused by the personal books. However, all of them claim to be uploaded. I will need to go through al 100+ personal books on both computers to figure out which ones are missing. Maybe rebuilding the missing books will help.

What do you mean? How did you determine that "all of them claim" to be so?
Two of the personal books on the old computer had the Upload button active, so I could upload them. They were subsequently downloaded to the new laptop, i.e., out of the 17 missing books, only 15 books are missing now.
However, all the other 100+ personal books have the Upload button greyed out, so I assume that I need to first figure out, which books are missing by comparing the lists of personal books on both computers, then rebuild the missing books on the old computer, upload them, and then they will be downloaded on the new computer.

The actual files of the personal books have the file extension ".lbspbb" and are located in the "resources" folder of you logos installation (in my case on this computer where I have logos installed on drive
it is the "D:\Logos\Data\0s1pyknt.tff\ResourceManager\Resources" folder). You could find that folder on your old installation and copy those pbb files to a usb stick, then plug the usb stick into the new laptop, open logos app of the new installation and in the command box use the "scan" command to have logos scan that usb stick, this will find those files and incorporate them into your new logos installation so that in your new installation you would have the same pbb books as in your old installation (without the need to upload them, or rebuilding them).This method could be used not only for those pbb files but for the whole resources folder which contains all the resources in your library; by then using the scan command you would incorporate them from the usb stick rather than having to download them from logos server, saving time and possibly cost depending on the internet connection.
