[Feature Request] [[@Title:...

Hello
The Logos books and the PBB has the @Headwords: and @Bible: Thats great, but I would love to have also @Title: So we can faster search for titles. I have solved it here with the @Headword even it is not correct it works not bad. But an extra @Title would be better.
I would love to see this in Logos Editions and in PBBs.
Thanks.
Fabian

I'm trying to understand what you're asking for here. How would the proposed "@Title" manifest itself in the software? Where would it show up?

Fields (https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books#Fields) can be used to help mark up text for searching. How would @Title be different?

Hello Bradley,
In general to have a better outline. One reason is to have content in the outline which don't have a heading in the resource itself. Especially for Dictionaries, Wordbooks etc.
In the image you can see we have to add a heading to have it in the outline. Blue arrow.
If we can add an @Title to the Diaspora in the description line, no need for a heading above. So it would be more like a/the printed version, where no headings are.
It corresponds to https://community.logos.com/forums/t/220698.aspx. I guess this was the feature request I made earlier for the same case.
BTW Logos has a bug there.
I recognized this first on PBB, (I discussed it on the forum, but I can't find it. I will create a feature request on the new forum again), but also on regular Logos resources. IF there is a dictionary at the end of the Bible. I discussed it here, last image https://community.logos.com/forums/t/225758.aspx. In short: if there is a dictionary at the end of the Bible then the dictionary citation gives allways Rev. 22,21. Only if the dictionary is in front of the Bible the dictionary has a correct citation.
The first image of the link above is especially to the Luther21, rest is for all Bibles in Logos.
In the last image I discus also the case for the @Title. For example in the TOC, it gives now all the time the beginning of each Bible book if you hover over the linked TOC. For me it would be good only to have the link to the Bible book without the tooltip.
Again back to the outline. This should improved. I discussed this before also in the link above.
- With only "Chapter" we have no clue where we are. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/212751/1259143.aspx#1259143
- Write instead the abbreviation as it is in the PBB I have done, much more convenient to see where I am.
- Put also the headings in the outline. You can see in the PBB I can search for the perikopes. 5th image from the link above.
You are welcome to ask again if you have still questions.

OK, I think I understand now. You're asking for markup to set the text of the table of contents entry for the current position (without necessarily adding a @Headword, but that would also be allowed if it made sense, e.g., in a custom dictionary).
Fabian said:If this occurs in a Logos resource, it's a book bug; please report it.
In a Personal Book, you would need to close the final Bible milestone before the dictionary starts. There's currently no syntax to perform this operation in PBB. I checked our system and found a case for this feature improvement, so I added a link to this thread to it.

Yes, I guess you nailed it.

I guess it would make sense, if this is done to add it to the Wiki page. So we know when it happend and how it is to use it.
Thanks.

Or to make invisible headings as the ESV etc. has. Where you can see the current chapter in the browser left, without any visible entry in the Bible.
ESV
No "Chapter 1" heading in the Bible. Or is this possible in PBB too?

I don't think it's possible, because I don't think there's any special syntax for table of contents entries; the PB compiler just infers them from the headings in the body text.

Thanks for your answer. May you put this on the list for future improvements too.
