My Father always began table grace with "Our Most Holy God" ... which for years left my niece confused as she heard "Almost Holy God"
I love how little minds get so beautifully confused. For years I was baffled as a child as to why there were two N's in the alphabet. One day I was rescued from my confusion when it finally became clear that the final N was in fact the word "and".
Kids often make me smile. But then again, so do adults. [:)]
One primary school teacher told our prayer gathering in Scotland that she found out the front of the class was singing 'Away in a manger' but the back of the class were singing 'A wean in a manger'.
I'm with the back of the class. [:P]
LOL I still hear, “Bless those who are sick of our number!” DAL
Thanks. You made me laugh.
And friend of mine, as a child, remembers singing, O Come O Kinky Turtle... And discovered later she was singing, O Come, O King Eternal.
My favorite was always the song leader saying “to turn over in your hymnal”. Like I can turn over in bed, but kinda difficult in my hymnal.
Relating to Santa Claus: He's making a list of chicken and rice.
