How do I link Loeb windows English & Greek?

Both for Logos software & Biblia.com, I cannot find anyway to link side by side the 2 panels so that

I can have the Loeb classic Greek text in one panel & side by side (synchronized hopefully) the English text. In fact, it seems that I MUST have a Bible text in the left column & anything else in the right panel. Also I would like to put Alford's Greek testament in Greek in one panel & the English version of Alford in the other panel. & I don't know how to have more than 2 panels, if that is possible. I have Logos 9 I believe.

(I also confess with great ignorance on how to use Logos, though I have had it over 10 years. Apparently there is no manual or learning workbook. And now with the subscription service coming (which I don't want), I wonder if I will ever be able to learn how to use Logos. (I think when I owned Logos 1.6 I knew how to use that !

Just for clarification:

- You're on your desktop, or app.Logos.com? You also mentioned Biblia.com.

- Which specific resources (books) are you referring to (eg Loeb, and Alford)?

Biblia has limited capabilities and is no longer under active development. You will have a much better experience at https://app.logos.com/.

In both Logos Desktop and the Logos Web App, you can open two different resources, put them in the same link set, and scroll them side-by-side:

My question has nothing to do with specific resources. The question is, can one put 2 modules side by side at will some way (either at Biblia.com or using your installed Logos program) or must the left column always be limited to Bible modules & the right to non-Bible modules. Also I asked if there were a way to have more than 2 panels

I am not asking about merely opening 2 resources, but about putting whatever resources one wants in 2 panels & synchronized. With regard to Alford, I am asking about opening the Greek text commentary in one panel & the English version of Alfred's commentary in the other. You have a Bible text on left & an commentary on right, which seems to be what one is limited to.

The link set which Bradley referred and gave training links to IS the mechanism for linking the two sources. The only requirement is that the two resources share an index type which is what they link on.

If you look in the resource information panel a ways down you will see a section that tells you what indexes exist for a book. If it is only indexed by page, it will not work in a linked set. However, two calendar devotionals could link because they both have a calendar index. Bibles and Bible commentaries and Study Bibles all have a Bible index and can be linked. But a Bible wouldn't link to a calendar devotional because one has a bible index and one has a calendar index. They have no index in common to link on.

You can put ANY resource any place you want to (within reason).

See my screen shot a an example of the type of thing you can do. This is being done with the latest (v36.1.6) Logos for the Desktop.

Note that I have 6 separate panels open with the Bible located on the Upper Right of the desktop.

I simply chose somewhat random resources trying to demonstrate having different types of resources open.

I "Could" have positioned any of these mostly anywhere I chose to.

You "Should" have a resource in your library titled "QuickStart for Logos 10"

It is a series of videos by Morris Proctor and one of the very (next to) last topics is "Create Your Own Study Space".

If you watch that it will show you how to open and move around various resources on your screen to set up your workspace the way you want it to look.

The short answer is put your mouse pointer on the tab with the resource title, click and hold it, and then drag that resource to another window. On the desktop app, Logos will even show you (with a grayed area) where you can open a new space.
