I never thought of this on the Subscriptions need advice please

I am one of those people who owns Logos 10 and have for years, in some form well before Verbum came out. When Verbum came out, I bought it as well. On my PC I use both for a variety of reasons.

Now I never considered this---if I want to maintain both, will I need two subscriptions?

With the Logos launch 10/21 and Verbum launch not until 11/11 it seems that each may in fact require unique subscriptions.

Right now, in the beta, i go between the two without issue.

So, Logos, for those that are working across traditions, will separate subscriptions be required, one for Logos and one for Verbum?

No, in fact Logos is in blocking the option of combining the features of both Logos and Verbum under a single user. However, the features that you have can still run on either Logos or Verbum. I simply will be unable to show Logos only features in my training posts. I'm hoping enough people are annoyed to get Logos to reconsider.

I agree. I see no reason to change the platform that exists except for those who elect to have one platform or another.

I am, admittedly, an amateur academic. I have Logos, Verbum(all levels and iterations), the Anglican tradition, Orthodox, and Academic.

I am relatively speechless with the information about one and done so to speak

Are you sure about that? You had me thinking about the issue, and (with all due respect) I have 0 interest in a Verbum subscription. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this has already been in discussion for weeks. After all, responses are a bonus, right? Not obligatory.

Thanks you for looking in to this , l have all the traditions Christian traditions base package

I have Verbum 10 with all the Features traditions base package and logos 10 with all Features

I switch between the to traditions in the logos software using a command

to go Verbum and back to logos .

I think of logos and Verbum as my complete Christian library .

The move to subscriptions would have been the perfect opportunity to solve this dilemma: include the features in the subscription, and everything else in libraries (Logos, Verbum, localized, denominational, academic etc.)

A few non-cloud features such as interactives and reverse interlinears would have to be included in the libraries to make this work.

The extra free book could be made a choice of a non-Catholic book, a Catholic book, a Spanish book, a German book, a Chinese book etc. Which would also be an additional benefit if a user already owns "their" extra free book.
