I received an email with a link to one course, but I thought we get 5 with Logos pro?

I think it is 3 with Logos Pro. They should download with all the books that go with the subscription. You do not get to choose them. If you bought a package that includes a mobile ed course of your choosing, then that is what the e mail probably is.

They should download on their own with a temporary license. If you bought a new 2025 package, it should come with a free course to own and not rent like the subscription ones.

I have not yet seen an easy way to identify which courses are currently available with the different subscription levels. I know one is able to see which courses one currently has temporary access to, but this will not identify courses that one already owns. I would appreciate a clear list somewhere that is updated as courses are cycled out.

    The FAQ has this?

I have an Early Access subscription. What Mobile Ed courses do I have access to?

Premium subscribers have access to NT211 Introducing the Gospels and Acts: Their Background, Nature, and Purpose, OT303 Theology of Genesis, and BI201 The Story of the Bible. Pro subscribers have access to the Premium courses, plus PD102 Idolatry and the Power of the Cross and TH221 Doctrine of Man. Max subscribers have access to the Pro courses, plus CH351 History of Heresies, CO101 Introducing Pastoral Counseling I, LD201 Leading Teams and Groups in Ministry, and Bible Survey Video Series: The Gospels as the Story of Jesus.

Definitely could be easier to find though... maybe a Subscriber home page in the future to go to like the good 'ole connect days :)

I know one is able to see which courses one currently has temporary access to, but this will not identify courses that one already owns. Here are the courses for this quarter:

Mobile Ed: NT211 Introducing the Gospels and Acts: Their Background, Nature, and Purpose (6 hour course)
Mobile Ed: OT303 Theology of Genesis (3 hour course)
Mobile Ed: BI201 The Story of the Bible (6 hour course)
Mobile Ed: PD102 Idolatry and the Power of the Cross (2 hour course)
Mobile Ed: TH221 Doctrine of Man (11 hour course)
Mobile Ed: CH351 History of Heresies (7 hour course)
Mobile Ed: CO101 Introducing Pastoral Counseling I: Theory and Practice (7 hour course)
Mobile Ed: LD201 Leading Teams and Groups in Ministry (11 hour course)
Bible Survey Video Series: The Gospels as the Story of Jesus
The first three come with Premium, Pro adds two more, and finally Max gets all eight. Max also gets an additional bonus course this quarter with the Bible Survey video.

Hopefully this helps you find it in your library.  If you need any more help, just let me know!

Aaron, I had the same befuddlement as items were updated. As I saw new temporary courses appear, I made a list in my ever handy notebook and got started on one. I have eight to go through in this batch! New ones will be on their way far too soon. This is not a bad thing, as it keeps me focused on very useful information and away from all of the current social media distractions. Radio off, podcasts off and full Logos course study on! Life doesn't get much better for a retired fellow -- I feel like I'm back in the university again. ;)

Specifically, what is the last day that we have to access these courses? Is it Dec 31?

And going forward, since they are quarterly, will they be January 1 to March 31, April 1 to June 30, etc?

I would like to suggest that going forward, perhaps an e-mail can be sent each quarter (even a couple days before), clearly showing what the new courses are.

Here are the courses for this quarter:

So, if we have purchased ME courses in the past, and one of them shows up on this list, when it is pulled by timing out at the end of the quarter, what happens to the course that was purchased prior to the subscription?  With the servers be able to tell the difference and leave it on my machine, or will I lose it?

    Nothing at all

The courses contained in the subsription are temporary licenses, whereas your owned courses are permanent licenses - same as with the books contained in the subscription.

EDIT: It looks like this (I already own 4 of the 8):

Thank you, Mitch. I Sincerely appreciate it.

For the future, I would like to cast my vote for a more organized and sustainable method of communication (not buried in FAQ or in the forums), such as via email or a website.

I read somewhere that Logos are going to email us a reminder when our current quarter’s courses were about to be refreshed. Perhaps in that email it could provide a link to a page at Logos.com where the new courses are listed.

At first I considered they could be listed in the email but emails are easily lost, who wants to page at Logos.com could be found. I guess they could be listed in the email as well for good measure.

Thanks Mitch...very helpful.  I already have permanent license for NT211 and BI201.

If Max is aimed as scholars while Pro is aimed at pastors, how come Max gets Pastoral Counseling and Leading Teams and Groups in Ministry? That strikes me as a bit counter-intuitive. I understand there's only a limited pool of resources, but why start with something that doesn't seem to fit very well? I hope it's going to be more intuitive next quarter.

I agree. But only because I want Leading Teams and Groups in Ministry!

To make pastors jealous, I suppose. Sure you don't want Max? [;)]

I was certainly expecting one of the final courses to focus more specifically on original languages. As they'll be rotating, though, I don't mind at all. There's no way I'll have time to do them all first time around.

    Exact, amundo.

So did I...looks like almost no thought went into the selection of the free ME courses as far as matching the descriptions of the three SS levels offered.

The courses are curated by Logos?  I didn't realize subscribers don't get to choose them.  For me, that's one more warm fuzzy turned to a cold prickly.   I had a subscription in the cart and ready to hit the "Proceed to Checkout" button, then saw this.  Now have to reevaluate. [:(]

    Yes, and you don't.

I don't see this as a nightmare scenario, but I do see it as a big minus. For one thing, the three subscription levels have specific descriptions...users, pastors, and researchers/original language users. The ME courses (or at least a couple of them) *should match the subscription description* rather than just be seemingly randomly assigned.

I think Logos missed an opportunity to add value here (at no cost)...perhaps they'll see this and fix it.

This list of mobile ed courses is very helpful. I wish Logos would send this automatically each month.

I noticed that I have temporary access but when I place in my cart and cycle through the screens to place order, I am being charged full amount.

How do I get access without paying?
